This home was adorable and perfect for my family! There’s a nice fenced in yard in back. The home was a little stuffy on arrival, likely from not being stayed in and it being summer and humid, but there was a great quality air cleaner in the home. The home was comfortable, charming and roomy. The host was very accommodating and the home had everything we needed.
The house was beautiful and very clean. My only issue was the central air conditioner was good everywhere in the house beside the main bedroom. The first night we realized we can't sleep in the bedroom comfortably unless we had the door open. Also the ceiling fan wouldn't go very fast to cool off the room. Besides that wonderful stay
A Very cute, charming house that was clean but in an older, quiet neighborhood. Neighborhood looked sketchy but was fine.

Unsatisfying stay
This was not a satisfying stay, overall. We arrived on Friday, and left on Monday. When we arrived, we noticed there were several light bulbs/light fixtures that weren’t working, as well as some cleanliness issues (cobwebs on fixtures/surfaces, dirt/debris in the dressers, previous renter’s shirt and underwear still in the dresser, a couple of bugs found in the kitchen, etc.). The a/c vent in the front bedroom needs to be fixed as well, as the duct leading to it is falling into the basement, so very little air is making it into the room.
The biggest issue we had however was that the internet/Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there, and cell reception is not great. Stemming from that, the main tv was not usable since both the Roku and the direct tv receiver (which was missing a remote, so wouldn’t have been usable anyway) rely on Wi-Fi for streaming. So the only tv that worked in the house was the one in the bedroom that had a direct connection to a direct tv box, where my son was staying. Obviously, laptop and devices that were not cell phones couldn’t be used while there.
NOTE: Once I got a hold of the owner, she was very responsive as far trying to deal with the internet provider, but there was no way to get it back online while we were there, as it was going to require a service visit, and they couldn’t get there until Monday, when we were leaving.
There were some issues we dealt with only because of the age of the house/where it is. The main bedroom is at the front of the house, and you hear EVERY SINGLE THING going up and down that street (dogs barking, car engines revving, etc). Little to no sound insulation at all. Also, there seem to be a lot of dogs that are kept outside in that area, as there was constant barking.
The process was easy and the home was in a lovely old neighborhood, meaning culture and character. It was quiet other than the barking dogs all night. Neighbors should be more aware of their dogs keeping people up all night!!! I had an issue and the property manager was available immediately by phone. The issue was my fault!!! Would have given all fives if I wasn’t so sleepy from the neighbors (behind us) I was in the bedroom closer to the back of property! But amazing updates and property was amazing including cleanliness, cuteness, safety; and overall experience.
The place is in an older part of town. Other then barking dogs the neighborhood was fairly quiet.

Just not okay.
While en route to the property I felt very uneasy about the location. I arrived to a dark home in a sketchy area. I had to use my phone light to navigate the parking and entry. No working lights at entry or right inside the doorway. Had to walk through a dark house to find lights. I felt very unsafe. I went for dinner, couldn’t find anything open. Also, all the places had bars on the windows or were completely boarded up. I decided to leave the area and not stay there. It did not feel safe at all.

Hi Darci, we wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: "We are sorry that you did not feel safe in our diverse neighborhood, Darci. We have a safe and historic suburban community. The homes were built in the early 1900s and some homes on the way to the home may not have been in good repair. However, the house is safe, with neighbors that have lived in the community for over 30 years. As we spoke on the phone, you also have access to the security system."
We enjoyed our stay. Nice remodeled house but was in a inner city type neighborhood.

Price too high for the area the house in located in. Other than that everything was good.
