We love our home away from home Whistler Penthouse. And judging by our perfect record now at 188 10/10 and counting on Expedia/VRBO, It shows. We are quite proud to maintain such a high level of consistency over 9 years of hosting.

We use our place often and we want all the comforts and quality of home with us in our Whistler penthouse. As result our guests also enjoy all those little extras that elevate a condo from a mere vacation property to a true home away from home! The bar is set very high and we invite you to also set your expectations very high with confidence. We also invite you to please read our reviews where many have labelled our penthouse "best in the Aspens". If you simply want it ALL and nothing but the best will do then our place will fill your check list!

The formula: Give the people what they want! :
-Super clean, super comfortable and Exceptionally well equipped!

1. -Owner available 24/7. Owner-managed. Any urgent matters quickly addressed. The front desk is also open 24/7 (& they sell frozen pizzas! And a host of other sundries. :) )

2. -Penthouse. Ours is the largest 1-bedroom in the Aspens. Our unique large space allows for 2 sofa beds in the living room. With plenty of room leftover. The queen and double sofa beds are the highest quality and with upgraded memory foam mattresses. In the bedroom a luxurious 16" pillow top memory foam King. (You will read a lot of raving reviews on the king bed as well).

3. -Furnishings. Size is fantastic and you will love how spacious the penthouse is however a condo is not "luxury" unless the furnishings and outfitting are also of the highest quality and the unit is upkept to the highest possible standards. To that end the kitchen is very fully outfitted, the bathroom is floor to ceiling tile (with heated floor) and with thermostatic shower. GearDryer, work/office desk, high quality carpeting, GearDryer*, 2 smart TVs, Wii, games, DVD and 100+movies, high quality stainless bbq... the list goes on.


4. -RENOVATION! Nov./Dec., 2024 including new entrance remodel, installation of high quality carpeting and painting throughout.

Our suite is meticulous. It is very highly equipped offering all the comforts of home. You will want for nothing! Nuestra casa es tu casa!!

"PENTHOUSE INTERIOR DETAILS":

-16" King bed memory foam w/pillow top. High quality. Amazing sleep!
-highest quality memory foam pullout sofa beds in the living room 1. queen + 1 double.
-GEARDRYER. Installed December 2024 has proven extremely popular. It is to our knowledge the only one in the building.

-extremely well stocked kitchen. All clad and stainless pots/pans, quality knife set toaster, tea kettle, Keurig coffee maker, blender, waffle maker. Even baking trays!

-(2) smart TV’s (55" living room, 42" bedroom).

-Wii and lots of other games.

-DVD player with dozens of classic movies (100+)

-floor to ceiling bathroom tiles.

-thermostatic shower system with full size soaker tub!

-heated floors

-EVERY light in the condo is dimmable.

-gas fireplace (building shuts all fireplace gas feed during the summer months)

-2 balconies

-smoke and gas detectors.

-directly adjacent to the fire escape.

-Air conditioning! (many units in the building do not have A/C.

-BBQ (not just any bbq. A Jackson Grill. Best we’ve ever owned)-excellent stainless bbq that is well maintained and kept clean.

-Desk/workspace in the bedroom for remote work while others enjoy the living room....

-Custom made solid maple live edge accents. Mantle, work desk, bathroom mirror, shelving....

-artwork "Blueberry2Blackcomb" , "Run" and "Black Tusk" giclee print from our favorite artist Andy Anissimoff of Squamish.

-The wooden sculpture "The Skier" (Alan Boileau). Alan's piece really steals the show!

-professionally cleaned after each stay including regular carpet steam cleaning.

In closing it is easy for owners to overstate their space. But if they do they will not maintain such high ratings over such a long period of time *9yrs. and counting...! We prefer to encourage all prospective guests to read our fantastic reviews. Nowhere will you find disappointment and we will work hard to ensure your review is another 10/10! "THE ASPENS BUILDING DETAILS/AMENITIES"

-FREE Ski valet. 07:30-18:00 daily during ski season

-24/7 front desk. They also sell basic groceries such as milk, cereal, muffins, coffee, cream, frozen pizza and ice cream, pasta, sauce, toiletries and a host of other items.

-Pool towels. At front desk.

-Pool. One of the largest in Whistler and West facing means full sun all day long. Surrounding the pool are large cantilevered umbrellas, lounge and sitting chairs. Pool is kept at a comfortable temperature year round.

-3 hot tubs. All of which are within sight of skiers and borders passing by as well as the Blackcomb Gondola right outside our property gate. Serene in the evening.

-Bike storage room. Gated and video monitored. A code will be provided for access.

-LOCATION! LOCATION!, LOCATION!!
The Aspens is one of the very best locations in Whistler. A true ski-in ski-OUT(!) slopeside gem on Blackcomb in the Upper Village. Ski to our slopeside gate, leave your skis at the valet and head up to your spacious penthouse in a total of 3 minutes... (You cannot beat that time at the Fairmont next door nor at the Four Seasons behind them ;) ). Upper Village shops and restaurants, the gondola, guest services, Merlin's!!, -all a few minutes walk.

We live in Squamish, are avid skiers, mountain bikers, kayakers and we love to travel. We also love getting up to Whistler to use our beautiful condo in between rentals. Hosting has been a lot of work but it’s also been very rewarding with all the great guests we’ve had over these 9 years!

Location location location!!!! You just can't beat The Aspens for it's true slope-side ski in and ski out location. The penthouse is the second property we've owned in this terrific building having moved from the ground floor in 2017. With neighbors The Fairmont and the Four Seasons and with a gondola at your doorstep The Aspens is absolutely ideal. Staying in the Upper Village has all the amenities and none of the noise of the main village. Yet it's a 8-10 minute stroll away from all the Village energy! Party in the Village. But sleep in the Upper Village....

Our Penthouse is unique in The Aspens. It is the largest space 1-bedroom in the complex and in comparison to all others, is the most spacious. The rest is a long list of excellent outfitting, modern amenities and the highest quality furniture. Add heated floors, 2 balconies, bbq, A/C and NEW FOR WINTER 2024/2025: A HIGH QUALITY SKI BOOT AND GLOVE/HELMIT DRYER. "GearDryer" brand. Please read our reviews.
