Our family of 6 adults had plenty of space at this cabin. We love to cook and so we enjoyed the roomy and well stocked kitchen. We found ourselves spending lots of time on the covered porch talking, looking at the mountain view, and enjoying the hummingbirds. We took walks on the property, up the mountain, and down to the creek along highway 7.
Our family loved this rental. We had 3 rentals while visiting RMNP, and this was our favorite. We stayed in Estes, then Grand Lake, and spent our last two nights here so we would be closer to the airport when we left. I’m so glad we did. The cabin was so cute and perfect for our needs. There were hummingbirds everywhere! We sat on the porch and watched them zoom around and eat from the feeders when we returned in the afternoons. We were also able to visit some very nice sights in the area we probably wouldn’t have if we hadn’t stayed here. It wasn’t too far to also drive back into RMNP, which we did our last day of vacation. I definitely recommend this cabin.
Eric is an amazing host with an awesome cabin! The location is exactly where we needed to be and the cabin is exactly what we needed to disconnect, even if only for a couple of nights. Highly recommend and will book again!
My family of 4 throughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is close to Rocky Mountain National park. There was plenty of room for us to spread out after a day of exploring. It was nice to sit on the front porch and watch the hummingbirds.
The Pinecone Palace was the perfect getaway for our family. It was close enough to town to be convenient but far enough to feel like we really had space to relax. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook a few meals as well. We had fun exploring the property a bit and enjoyed the proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park as well. We would absolutely stay here agin if we ever return to the area.
We loved the cabin. It was extremely well stocked with any kitchen item needed. Peaceful. Relaxing on the porch, enjoying the Mountain View, was my favorite.
The location was wonderful. The property was beautiful and functional. Our family came from out of town to attend a wedding and stayed for almost a week. The owner/manager was very responsive before and during our stay. We would definitely consider booking again in the future.
We absolutely loved stay at this location! The house was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We also saw plenty of wildlife, deer, turkey, squirrels and rams ( maybe it was called something else, but it had horns like a ram). We would definitely stay here again when in the Lyons area!
We absolutely loved our stay. Owner was responsive when we had questions. Nice property. We saw alot of wild life. We thought we would more secluded but didnt really see any neighbors outside. House was nice and spacious for us.
We loved staying here! The home was very cozy, well appointed, and had everything we needed. The owner/manager was very responsive before and during our stay. We had a huge snowstorm that turned the place into a winter wonderland. We were in town for a wedding but didn’t want to leave the house! I would definitely recommend this home.
