Burrows of Penrose was just what our group of 8 adults needed ,4 great bedrooms a kitchen equiped to cater for all and enough space for all both indoors around the fire and on the verandah in the morning sun. The location gave easy access to Bowral Moss Vale and Bundanoon and the local wineries and National Parks.

Dear Carol, thank you for leaving a 5-star review. Out team are pleased to hear that The Burrows of Penrose was perfect for you and your group. We hope to welcome you back in the future.
Our group of friends (with little infants) stayed for 3 nights over a long weekend. The house was beautifully styled and thoughtfully fitted out. The kitchen was amazing to cook in, looking over the property and bushland, and we loved the comfort of the indoor fireplace, as well as the outdoor fire pit. Everything was very clean, well looked after, and family friendly. We instantly felt at home and would definitely come back for another stay!
We enjoyed staying here very much. The house is beautiful and has everything you would need but don't forget to bring shower gel, soap, shampoo and conditioner as only handwash is provided. Loved the fireplace and air conditioning kept the lounge, dining and kitchen warm. Heaters were provdided in the bedrooms as well as electric blankets. We would highly recommend this property. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and it was a shame that it rained during our stay andxwe couldn't use the firepit. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Thank you Mari for your 5-star review. Its wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your stay and were able to keep so warm with the heating and fireplace at the property. We are thrilled you would stay again. We look forward to your return.
Check in was simple. The home was extremely inviting and well appointed. Wonderfully peaceful. The only complaint we would have is that the BBQ was filthy and the heating elements were falling apart. It obviously hadn't been cleaned under the hot plates for a significant period of time. The only other problem we had was that in the bedroom next to the master, the hanging rail fell down as it didn't have all the screws required to keep it in place. Having said all that, we had a great time and want to return. It was beautiful!
A beautiful property in a lovely rural setting. So peaceful! Excellent amenities with electric radiators and electric blankets in each bedroom and ample firewood provided. Coffee pods and complimentary chocolates were a nice touch too. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cooking pans and utensils. Staying in winter was chilly but the supplied heaters were definitely effective and the beds toasty. The views were absolutely beautiful. Bathrooms a little dated but in excellent condition with a country feel to them. Plenty of very hot water too and fluffy towels. All in a very comfortable and attractive house.

Week in Penrose
We have arrived to ants and bugs infested house with dirty kitchen and dishes, garbage beans where full and my bath towel got holes in it. Resolving most important issue regarding full garbage bins took the majority of our stay. We have tried to contact Holiday Rental Specialists from the first day. I have sent SMS, called and left the message with no response, then I have sent email. After three days, they have responded with property manager asking me why it took us so long to report the issues and to present all evidence to support my complains. I have dedicated my time during holidays to provide all requested documents not to relax. I've felt offended by property manager, as she presented no proper follow up to my messages place and mistrust to me as a client.

Good morning Bogdan
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
As I am sure you are aware this is our busiest period. Please note the Guest Experience Manager emailed you as soon as we received your SMS to address you concerns. HRS offered to send the housekeeper back to rectify the cleaning issues and this offer was declined. We arranged for someone to collect the bins in a timely manner. Holiday Rental Specialists were under the impression you were satisfied with the outcome and followed up with an email informing you we would do further investigations as to why these cleaning issues were missed and to let you know the property has since undertaken a deep clean - from then we had no further correspondence from you. However we appreciate your feedback and are happy to report it has all been taken on board for future bookings.
