Check in process was easy and neighbors were very nice, with a great location. Unfortunately the condo was not up to expectations. There was old food in the sink, cigar buds on the balcony, as well as issues with the plumbing. At arrival, we found the toilet was gushing water back into the bowl, with no water shutoff. I was able to contact host and they said they would try to find someone to fix. I didn’t hear from them until the next morning, letting us know we were on a list to get someone out there. The communication from there was on me and I had to reach out for updates. The noise from the water made it difficult to sleep and it was uncomfortable to use the toilet with water gushing all over you, so we decided to leave a night early since it seemed it was not going to be fixed before the end of our stay. On top of the toilet issue, the water ran brown in the bathroom and was extremely slow to drain. The shower also did not drain efficiently.

We apologize for the difficulties during your stay. Our team first received notice from you about the running water in the toilet late at night, and they reached out to several plumbers right away. We were placed on waiting lists for the plumbers, but none of them were able to come see the condo that late, and they were also busy the next day. Our team communicated this with you, and we are sorry that we could not get someone in sooner. Because of this, we refunded you for part of your stay. We understand this issue was difficult, and we wish it had not happened, but it was out of our control, and we handled it as best we could. The toilet has since been fixed. We have had the drains serviced as well. Thank you for bringing them to our attention! The issues of cleanliness were not mentioned to us during your stay; otherwise, we would have sent a cleaning team to check the condo again. The photos we have from the cleaning team prior to your check-in showed the condo was clean.

Great location but place was dirty

The location was amazing! We walked everywhere. However, the kitchen was dirty when we checked in (toaster oven, oven, and keurig all had crumbs/grease/spills and needed a good cleaning). To make this place 5 stars, I’d recommend adding a dishwasher, microwave, hairdryer, and replacing the old toilet.

Loved the location and exploring Savannah. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped even though small. Main issues were that balcony doors were hard to open and did not close well so cold air was leaking in....and we were never able to get the heat working, despite communicating with the property manager. Overall, apartment was clean and building felt safe.

Lovely Savannah home base in a great location

We spent a lot of time in the apartment during our stay in Savannah, and it was a great home base. Lovely location right on a historic square. I could sit on the little balcony and people watch the cobblestone street below. As the other reviews state, there really are food and drink options right within walking distance (0.3 miles to many options).We went during a heat wave in July and I was pleasantly surprised that the AC units really effectively cooled the whole space. Plus, they're relatively new window units so they didn't make the air feel "weird" by having them constantly running (I have sensitive sinuses). The host contact was friendly and responsive via text when I reached out to them at check in and check out.One caveat: It's a 100 year old historic building. There's plenty of hot water, but the water pressure in the shower leaves something to be desired. If you have long thick hair, give it a good wash before you leave home because it's challenging to get that going in the shower. Not a deal breaker though.

Fabulous location

This was a charming historic apartment in the absolutely perfect location. It was a short walk to whereever we wanted to go. We took an Uber from the airport and walked everywhere else. The king size bed was comfortable and the Christmas tree in the living room was a nice surprise. I took off a star since there is no microwave (how are we going to heat up our dinner leftovers?) and because the bathroom could have been cleaner--the shower curtain liner needed to be replaced because it was covered in mold and mildew. and there was a used bar of soap in the shower. I agree with the other reviewers that the towels are a bit thin. Also, while some amenities are provided, make sure you bring your own paper napkins and tissues if wanted (paper towels and toilet paper were provided). We would stay again and would recommend it.

Great Location in Heart of Savannah Historic District

Perfect location for a Couple to enjoy Historic Savannah. The Hop-On Hop-Off Bus for most tours of city actually go right past this Historic Building which was cool. Walking distance to most attractions & top restaurants/bars in Savannah. Smooth Check-In & Check-Out Process. Enjoyed the Balcony with Table. Overall, Location made this 5 Star Experience.

Walk everywhere

Great location, we walked everywhere. Quiet for sleeping. Very easy check in and communication was very responsive. It had everything we needed for our stay. Good WIFI signal. Everything was as stated/pictured. If i had anything negative to say is the towels are getting tired and an upgrade woud enhance the stay and the rugs have seen a lot of trafic and could use a cleaning, everything else was clean.
