Great Home in BV!

This was our second stay in this charming home and we had a great time. It has everything needed for little kids (a must for us!) comfy beds, soft towels, plenty of dish ware, a great yard and hot tub. Bonus, there are super sweet children on the street who were so lovely to our 5 year old and let him play with them outside all afternoon. Great hosts and overall a wonderful place to stay when in BV!

The house is very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit. Since the weather wasn't great we did spend more time at the house than originally planned but it was comfortable for 4 adults. Games and kitchen that had everything we needed for meals.

We loved this house in Buena Vista. Sara was a great host - very proactive and responsive. Location is close to downtown BV and many hiking trails. Great backyard for a dog and for a hot tub after a long day of hiking. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway

The property was great, clean, easy to access, we walked into town every day because it’s only half a mile down the road. We enjoyed the hot tub every day! They say it’s cleaned but it still had some sand in the bottom of it, I’m sure because of just tracking it into the tub as you get in and out. So not a big issue. We would definitely come back to this place

Good house, yard, and location. Overall a very good time.

The house was comfy enuf, and we spent a lot of time in the back yard grilling. The grill was next to a covered area so we could grill and talk. The white water boat ride was a couple minutes away, and, while kinda wild, glad we did it (we are in late 70s). Took drives into the mountains and walked along the river. Kinda warm mid-days, upper 80s, but cool breeze in evenings in back yard. Walked up/down main st a couple times, had lunch there once.

Stayed for 2 evenings. Stayed during a hot spell for the region. House has no AC so house was very warm during the day but opened the windows and by morning was cooled down nice. Nice rooms and a rustic feel. Had a minor mishap during stay and contacted the host, she was awesome and took care of it immediately. I would stay here again!

Best VRBO Experience

This was by far the best VRBO experience we have ever had. Booking and communication was seamless. Check-in was easy. The owner reached out immediately upon arrival to make sure everything was up to par. The house itself was just perfect. The kitchen literally had EVERYTHING. An entire spice cabinet, all utensils and cooking tools. The outdoor space was the best - hot tub was perfect, cute fireplace, great garden. The neighborhood was quiet, but walkable to downtown about 15 minutes on a nice trail. Definitely best stay in BV by far! Just book it.

The home was clean and well kept inside. Downstairs bed was all we used. It was comfy. Shower was hot and towels were HUGE! Kitchen and grill were good for cooking meals in. Living area was also comfortable. We did use the hot tub once after a long hiking day. It was clean and worked well. The outdoor area was not as well kept as inside. Front yard was mostly tall weeds. Back was mostly artificial turf. The home is close to town but also very close to the local high school (just fyi). Communication from host was great!

Comfortable Stay

The house had everything we needed with some nice extras in the kitchen pantry and fridge. The house was comfortable and clean. A wonderful backyard but we only used the hot tub for our winter-weekend stay. (Not all the jets in the hot tub worked, but it didn’t ruin the experience.) The location was convenient for us but the high school across the street from the backyard got a little loud Friday night, must have been a home game. My daughter loved the bedroom upstairs with the cozy nook and we all enjoyed the comfy couches and warming up by the stove after a day of snowboarding. (And the stove was perfect for drying our wet gloves and gear.) Check-in and out was super easy. Would stay at this property again.

Perfect Base Camp for Fun & Adventure

If you are looking for a pet-friendly house in Buena Vista, Colorado then this is your place. The house has three-bedrooms, one and a half-bathroom and is located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from downtown Buena Vista. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our 7 day stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and a wonderful backyard with stunning views of the surrounding Collegiate Mountain Range. Hot Tub, Grill and Fireplace make it ideal for hanging out after a day of fun. We even picked fresh Strawberries in the morning for breakfast. Solid Internet Wifi that worked great for working remote on a couple of the days. Our host Sara was very friendly and helpful, and she checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the fact that she provides a "local directory" activities and restaurants to try. We spent our days exploring the many outdoor activities and daytrips like Breckenridge, Salida, Great Sand Dunes National Park to name a few. Plenty of local activities available in the area including hiking, biking, rafting and shopping. We also enjoyed visiting the downtown Buena Vista, which has a charming Main Street with shops, restaurants, and breweries. Best Burger in BV is Buena Viking! Best Pizza is CraveBV, both very easy to find in town. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Buena Vista. The house was perfect for us and our two dogs, and we would definitely stay there again.
