Large, comfortable rooms and deck. Beautiful views of meadow, lake and mountains. Well-stocked and spacious kitchen. Thoughtful property managers, who provided extra fans for an unexpectedly warm weekend.
Location was great. My adult children enjoyed mountain biking in the area. My young grand children enjoyed the hikes on the property, the deer that showed up most evenings and the swing set. However the swing set is a little tired.

Will Return
This was my second time here. Once again, the owner and manager are wonderful, easy to communicate with, and were, once again, flexible with our group's stay. The house is well stocked with essentials, unlike many vacation rentals. Spent the weekend mountain biking at the adjacent Galbraith mountain and will return again!
1) We stayed at this property for two nights over spring break. The day we were supposed to go up there, there was a severe storm warning with potential power outages and felled trees. I reached out the property manager Aimee and without any hesitation or hassle she and the Evolve team thoughtfully moved our reservation by a day!
2)The house itself is beautiful, very nicely updated, well-maintained, and the windows, deck and view are just breathtaking! You see the mountains, the water, deer lounging on the lawn, and a resident Blue Jay who pops up everywhere:) Just note that the deck is not fully enclosed incase you need that for kids or dogs. We blocked off the opening with the outdoor table and made it work for us.
3) Aimee, the local property manager and is very responsive and just fabulous! Once we settled in, we realized that the heat was not coming on. She responded right away and suggested a few things, when those didn't work she came over and tried some things and talked to the owner. Unfortunately, it turned out it could not be solved and needed an actual heater repair guy to come out who could not come out till the next day afternoon. The owner graciously offered to put our family up in a hotel or gave us the choice to go back home. A hotel doesn't work for our family, and returning home would have been disappointing for the kids, so we made the decision to stay and manage for the one night. Aimee went back home and brought us two of her personal heaters! One of the heaters worked great and was able to warm up the Master bedroom enough for a comfortable night where all four of us huddled together and pretended we were camping:) The repair guy came out that afternoon and fixed the heater very quickly, after which the house beautifully warmed up and we appreciated it very much!
4) We had a fabulous time and wonderful memories! Two days after we returned, the Evolve team contacted us to let us know that the owner had refunded both nights of our stay!!! It was such an elegant and gracious touch! You can't go wrong with this place.

Spectacular view, immaculate house, and amazingly fun! A perfect house for a get away or a family vacation.
A spectacular home! Majestic mountain and lake views. The inside is just as good and cathedral in size! The nearby, recommended activities kept us busy all day with hiking, waterfalls, and swimming. At night, we soaked in the view from the wrap around porch. We brought our large family and everyone slept exceptionally well. We appreciated the extra kid supplies and blackberry patch. Everything about this house was spot on. I can't wait to come back!
Nice spacious place for a group. We had 8 people and the living space and kitchen area worked well for our meals and socializing.
Weather was not good so we didn't have any outside usage of the deck or yard.
Beautiful, modern home that was clean and very comfortable to to stay while visiting family. The communication from the homeowner made us feel very welcome and right at home. The property the home is located on is great for short walks too!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Getaway
We wanted to plan a special Thanksgiving that my parents and daughter could come to. We were supposed to be together last Thanksgiving but things were still so uncertain with COVID at that time we were not able to be together. We were delighted with the house, the view and the property. Despite the rain and gale force winds on thanksgiving we were able to enjoy sunsets and walks on trails throughout the property the rest of the time. It is very quiet, comfortable and roomy home. We were able to cook and bake a thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. The hosts and guest contact are easy to reach and very responsive to our questions . We felt very welcomed.
Great location for a weekend mountain biking at Galbraith. The home has a "dog wash" with towels at the back entrance for washing off muddy clothes and bodies, and a hose for washing muddy bikes. Aimee is a fantastic property manager. Great place and we will be back.

Lovely, comfortable home
What a view! We just wanted to look out the windows all day. Our son commandeered the cozy reading nook.
The house was comfortable, the grounds beautiful, and the property manager was responsive. We'll definitely be back!

Beyond gorgeous
My family and I stayed here during the summer, having headed west to escape thick smoke and evacuation notices in the methow valley where we live. The respite and sanctuary of this beautiful home were simply unbelievable.
The entire design of the home is peaceful and spacious, with lots of interesting views of the lake and surrounding trees. We loved walking the mowed paths around the 10 acres, through cedar groves, past a sweet pond and pausing for hours at the huge blackberry thickets lush with ripe juicy fruit. The decks provide great spots to enjoy the breeze on top of the hill, and indeed are perfect for morning or evening beverage sipping.
Inside, the home is furnished with sincerely anything you might want, and then more. I had two kids with me, and there were bookshelves of new books to explore, and a ton of board games on the bottom floor. The kitchen has everything - from Tupperware, to a fully stocked pantry (flour, sugar, an entire drawer of spices), to any pot or pan you might need for cooking.
The basics of a great vacation rental for me are beds (comfy pillows and mattresses) and showers (water pressure and plenty of hot water) and linens for both. This house has all in spades, with lots of fluffy towels, soft sheets, and extra blankets for a very comfortable stay.
The best parts of the experience for us were enjoying the views, exploring the laden bookshelves, and being able to so easily cook anything we wished for ourselves. Proximity to nearby trails was also fantastic and it was easy to get downtown. Recommendations provided in the house manual were spot on.
Booking and communication were super easy - I accidentally left my yoga mat and they quickly made arrangements for me to be able to retrieve it.
This house is a very, very special retreat. I’m already dreaming about coming back with friends, or for an extended family get together.
