This property is a gem! Clean, modern, quiet and convenient. The welcome bread and jelly were nice touches. The unit stayed cool in 34C heat, and the AC filtered the smoke present in the valley during our stay. This is one of the best stays we've had.

Very clean and comfortable home. The area is very quiet and close to town and the water. Thanks to Tina for the homemade bread and rubarb jelly, so very thoughtful.

Well Equipped Rental
Much thought and care went into planning the guest house. It had everything we needed for our stay and everything was in excellent condition. Especially appreciated the little things not usually available in other rentals. Things like sharp knives, wine glasses, Anker speaker, and plenty of hooks to hang clothes.

About the host

Sergio and I (Tina) have been in the Kootenays since 2004 and 1995 respectively. We enjoy working in our garden and playing pickleball at the local racquet club. Morning coffee at the beach with the dog is a frequent simple pleasure. Riding bikes around the lake and hiking the local trails are a favorite pass time. We look forward to welcoming you to our amazing village.

Why they chose this property

The Kootenays are an amazing place to visit as there are year round activities and adventures to be had. The large lake offers every water sport. The giant mountain ranges offer hiking and skiing. There are hot springs nearby, Ainsworth and Halcyon to name just two. Many local artists and music events to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Kaslo is a small village of 1000 people. It is a very active and quiet community right on Kootenay Lake. It is known for its Jazz Fest and May days festivals.
