Today the former Carriage House of the picturesque estate is an architect-renovated gem in an idyllic setting bordering a public preserve, a short walking distance to the center of Woodstock.
There are three houses next to each other, the Carriage House, the owner occupied Manor House and the Pond House, facing away from each other ensuring privacy. No other house is visible from inside the Carriage House with its own designated back yard facing the stream and waterfall. The 800 sft Carriage House, featured as a Freshgrub unique property, is ideal for a family of 4. The master bedroom with a king size bed is adjacent to the bathroom and the kids room with a low full size bed that extends to a queen size. Travel crib, toys, books, high chair, baby tub are provided.
The house comes with central A/C and heat, the contemporary kitchen is open to the dining/living room and comes fully equipped with premium appliances and amenities and expands to a private terrace with an outdoor charcoal grill and outdoor dining area. The swim hole and waterfall are shared with the Pond House and Manor House, with other swim holes a short stroll through the woods away. An outdoor day bed overviews the legendary Indian Head mountain ridge. The parking area comes with an electric car port.
Woodstock is an historically aspirational location with a variety of farm-to- table restaurants, eclectic bars and artisan shops. Upon request we offer professional resources from childcare and house keeping services to a private chef and a massage therapist. The estate is a within a 40 minute driving distance to major New York skiing destinations Belleayre Mountain, Hunter Mountain and Windham Mountain.

The secluded 6.5 acres with a large pond is crossed by the Woodstock Sawkill/Millstream with a waterfall bordering the ‘Comeau Property’, a 75 acre preserve with walking trails to town.
