Beautiful Roomy Home!

WOW! We stayed at Riverview for the holidays and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had plenty of room for 12 people, the views were stunning, and the house itself was clean and had everything we needed. There were toys for our toddler to play with, as well as toys for the grownups (shuffleboard was a hit!). Highly recommend!

Fun family vacation at Big Bass Lake

We had our whole family consisting of eight adults and four grand children together for this vacation. The grand kids were between two and nine years old. This house had everything we needed for a truly pleasant stay. The home had plenty of space for us at meals times or to just relax with a little privacy. The sound of the Lehigh River coming through our windows was very relaxing and the fire pit was perfect for S'mores. Big Bass Lake Community was very welcoming and had plenty for us to do all week. The grand kids really enjoyed fishing and watching the deer that were every where. The adults picked up pickleball and everyone enjoyed the outdoor pool and lake. With the private roads we were confortable riding bikes or walking at all times. The weather was perfect as it was cooler than our home location and we rarely needed the air conditioning. We recommend this home highly for anyone looking for a large family get together.

Relaxing Family Time

It was great working with Ressie! Any questions we had were answered kindly and immediately. The house fit us perfectly, big and cozy. The large dining table allowed us to all have our meals together. We loved having coffee in the morning on the covered porch. Along with enjoying the being together at the house playing games, sharing stories - we also used the community pool and splash pad, swam at the beach, went out for lunch to nearby breweries, played golf, and went to a Scranton Railrides baseball game and visited Legoland (highly recommend all!). We really enjoyed our time in PA. Thank you Ressie!

Let me say this…my friends and I were so impressed by this house we had to pick our jaws up off the floor. The pictures don’t do this home justice. It is a beautiful home inside and out. Everything in the house was thoughtfully place, my friends and I got a real kick out of the pictures in the bathroom and the sayings on the pillows. Joe was exceptional in responding to emails leading up to the rental. The cupboards were stocked with seasonings, soup, condiments, and SHOT GLASSES! The house smelled WONDERFUL!!! The beds were STURDY! My friends and I are all over 6’2 250lbs we slept like bears! Walking down to the river was stress relieving. Even the enclosed porch offered a therapeutic feel with the sound of the river in the background. We sat around the fire pit the last two nights and it was just amazing. There so much to be said about this house, it’s an absolute gem. We are already in plans to book our annual trip here again next year. Joe and Ressie, thank you for offering your house to me and my friends. We loved it.

We had a great time at Riverview. We really appreciated the thought and care into making the home family-friendly and comfortable (the beds were wonderful!), and the fact that everything was clean and organized when we came in. There was also ample space such that our group (6 adults and 3 kids) didn't feel like we were on top of each other. We loved the access to the river (our kids had a blast playing there) and all the amenities the community had to offer (the beach, clubhouse with the pool and splash pad, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the Thai food was at the clubhouse!). The kids loved exploring around the house and uncovering all the toys and games.

A winderful stay

The house came as advertised. Lots of room for our family of 12. The house was remarkably well-equipped. No problem with water pressure or hot water. There was room to escape when this was needed and the facilities, including the pool and beach were wonderful.

Perfect house for a multi-generation family vacation. Host provided a helpful guide to the home and the area. Everything was clean, accessible, and comfortable. Living areas easily accommodated our large group. We enjoyed preparing family dinners together, then relaxing outside on the deck. One of our favorite morning spots was to sit in the screened in porch and listen to the river flow. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, everyone had their own space to rest up for the next day. Great community amenities -- teens enjoyed the the lake, tennis, basketball, and hikes.

We were in the Poconos for a weekend cheer comp. The coaches and their families stayed here. The house was beautiful and stocked well. We had everything we needed for a fun relaxing weekend. The views were great and it even snowed a little bit. That made it even more beautiful. The beds and the bedding were comfortable. The huge coach in the living room was very comfortable. Everyone loved it. We will stay here again!

MLK Weekend

Great house with an amazing view! We had plenty of room for our 3 families and plenty of space for the kids to run around. The view of the river from the living room and balcony was incredible! Everything you would need is already at the house, from cooking in the kitchen, to snow sleds and kayaks, down to the woods chips for the fire place. Each room has it's own temperature control and all appliances were modern. Joe was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this home!

Our best Poconos rental experience ever!

My family rented Riverview for Labor Day Weekend and it exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. Joe, the property owner, was incredibly responsive to all of our questions throughout the weekend, and check in was a breeze. When we arrived, the house was spotless, all bathrooms had hotel-style personal toiletries, and the kitchen was stocked with all of the key essentials (paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent, etc.) We traveled with three families, and five young children, who all had plenty of activities both electronic and old school to choose from. Seemingly every room had a smart TV, the basement had darts and foosball for the grown ups, and there were at least 30 card and board games to choose from in the living room. With three levels to the home, each family had their own private space while still being able to mingle throughout the open floor plan. The overall community was also the nicest we have seen in the area yet - private gated entrance ensured safety, and the community pool, playground, and tennis courts were easily accessible and very well maintained. It is clear that Joe is doing a great job with this house and any large group that stays here will be happy they did!
