It was very easy to work with the host. The communications are clear and timely. The host also has a very good binder of recommendations. The house is very clean and is exactly what the pictures show. I was confused about the shower from the photos. It is separate from the bathroom and is a standalone in the front room. It works well and has good water pressure. The kitchen is well setup for cooking.
It was a very nice, cozy cabin like home. Far enough from town where it’s nice and quiet. But close enough where you can still go into for dinner or other activities.
Alexandra, Vinnie and the girls are fantastic hosts. They were so welcoming and helpful to our family. We have been coming in March to area from Wisconsin for over 35 years for an annual trip and we certainly have found our new home away from home. We look forward to many more trips in the future and may even make it two or three times a year and adding a summer family trip as well.
We had a lovely stay on the shore of Lake superior. The unit was very well kept, cozy, and with lots of amenities like kayaks, a beach area, and a fire pit. We will definitely be booking again.
It was excellent for a younger people. The circular stair case was a concern for my self. Also I was unable to go down to the beach as the last steps ( bricks ) to me were unsafe. , so I couldn’t access the beach. Also as a senior we often have to use the bathroom several times a night & so it would have been better if there was at least a toilet in the upper loft. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, but I had to mention the above concerns.
We stayed for 1 week and it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Quick and easy drive into Thunder Bay, highly recommended if you want a nice home base to go hiking or sight-seeing from

Location is beautiful and private. The owners are friendly and make the experience comfortable. Close to town. Very clean and provides all amenities and treats. I would recommend and would also stay again
Really enjoyed our stay.
Smooth check in and ultra clean!
We enjoyed the location and being in a rural setting.
Give the pups a scratch behind the ears for us.
We had a wonderful stay here as we completed the last leg of our Lake Superior Circle tour. The property has amazing views and was super clean. We hiked and drove around the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park which is very close and our hostess had great recommendations for food in the area.

It’s beautiful, clean and the host is really thoughtful and thorough. They had almost everything that’s you’d find at your home and it felt just like it. Excellent host and place. Highly recommended.
This is a beautiful quiet lakefront property. Accommodation was very comfortable and the host family was very friendly and helpful. My dog LOVED the place - especially the lake!
There is an overall feeling of solitude and privacy. Thanks!
The cabin was thoughtfully prepared, and perfectly equipped for an absolutely perfect little vacation. It is an excellent spot to shut yourself in for a spell, or to use as a launching pad to explore the area.
