Our stay at the Cainbable cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The views were breathtaking, the location was ideal, and the tranquillity of the surroundings made it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The cabin itself was spotless, tidy, and very well maintained, which made us feel comfortable straight away. It was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy some quiet time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
We loved our stay here! The 360 degree views and the sound of the creek in the background left us feeling like we were the only people there. The accommodation was quaint with tasteful decor, and had everything we needed to relax. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure everything was what we expected. Highly recommend for a calm and cozy escape with your four legged friends.
A quiet, peaceful environment. Plenty of space to absorb the beautiful surroundings and listen to the many different bird calls. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thanks Bev and Kent for your lovely comments and for leaving the place so tidy!. Cheers Teena
Loved our little romantic get away, magical that we could bring our little foxy who loved the whole experience. Feeding the animals was an added bonus.
A little secluded slice of heaven not far from Brisbane.
This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful time in the country. This had everything we wanted — comfortable bed, good shower, a fully equipped outdoor, mosquito proof, kitchen and dining room. Teena was lovely and very welcoming. My husband and I very highly recommend this place.
We just loved this gorgeous farmhouse, so much so that we booked a third night. Lots of privacy and every amenity imaginable was included. We just brought food for our puppy and us. Highly recommended
Had an absolutely wonderful time at Yalbaroo! The place is so beautiful and felt so peaceful and restful. Ali and Teena are welcoming and lovely, and got everything needed for a perfect weekend of rest. Even got to pat some alpacas, which was a real treat! Huge thank you!!
We had a beautiful long weekend with our fur baby Winston. Peaceful and tranquil location. The renovated barn stay was fully equiped with everything we needed and for our fur baby as well. Highly recommended if you want a great country experience.
This was our second stay at Yalbaroo and we had been anticipating it for months. From the time we turned off the car, we felt right at home. The peace we feel there is unlike anything we’ve found anywhere else. Already planning next trip.

A lovely relaxing place, comfortable with all the amenities.
The septic tank began to overflow on our last day, we attempted to contact manager by telephone but no response.
Teena was very welcoming and provided excellent responses to my messages. The property is charming and very clean with lots of lovely little touches and great attention to detail. We had such a nice time and our dog really enjoyed himself too. Would highly recommend this property. Thank you Teena and family.
Yalbaroo is a converted horse stable accommodation for two with comfortable quality furnishings and a full compliment of all the facilities you could desire. It's a self-sufficient retreat perched in a beautiful valley surrounded by wildlife and foothills with your own personal firepit and BBQ. Hosts are available but leave you in peace as if you own the place!

About the host
Hosted by Teena Sapwell
COVID definitely changed lots of things for many people. Our way of living, life as we know it, schooling and for many the way we earned an income.
Even before the pandemic hit, my family and extended family had been discussing a tree change and exploring a different looking future that saw us cohabiting on much more land, where life was more simple and we pooled resources and shared expenses to give us all the space and lifestyle we craved. Where we could take care of each other and maximise quality family time. Our mission would be creating places and experiences for others to come and enjoy some downtime and good clean country air. A place for others to escape to but for us it would be home.
Although we are luckier than most in that we have kept our jobs and maintained good health, through periods of lock down, home schooling and working from home we were able to confirm what we had been thinking. We do appreciate the simple things, we do love time together as a family and life can be taken just as quickly as it arrived so we must seize opportunities when we can. If we were ever going to bring to fruition our master plan, there was no better time or incentive to start the wheels turning than now. Read how our journey started at www.100campfires.com.au
Why they chose this property
We stumbled across Yalbaroo in April 2021 and instantly fell in love. It had all we had dreamed of. Rustic charm, rolling hills, a bubbling creek, open spaces for us all to enjoy, area for our camping site dream, part of a beautiful country community and established already - a gorgeous retreat, designed beautifully and ready to accept our first guests.
What makes this property unique
Rustic but charming - all the modern essentials. Private and away from our campground and residential area but by all means, guests are welcome to chat with us, meet our animals and explore our property as much as they like. Nestled next to the creek to cool off, bring your horse if you like and keep him / her in the stable next to you. Your furbaby (dog) is welcome too. Picnic spots and BBQ areas. Perfect place to base yourself and explore the Scenic Rim or just stay on the farm and do nothing but chill!
