There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites, all within walking distance:

Explore the iconic Calle San Sebastian nightlife. There is a large assortment of bars on this strip which is a favorite among locals on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Breakfast at “La Bombonera”. This is a Puerto Rican landmark well known for its locally inspired breakfast and pastries.
Savor Stuffed Avocado. Healthy and "trendy" spot where you can create your own avocado bowl.
Take a stroll around “Paseo La Princesa”, a waterfront walkway which you can start off at El Morro and finish of the walk with a rum tasting at Princesa Gastrobar at the end of the trail.

Thank you for your review! We're glad you enjoyed the location, cleanliness, and the bathrooms. It's great to hear it was easy to find and perfect for your needs. We hope to host you again soon! 🌟
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Aurora. Agatha was an excellent host and her communications were top notch. The apartment was as described. The only negative is that it is in a noisy area near a lot of bars. The people walking by are very noisy. We know that the owner can’t do anything about that except maybe supply ear plugs. We would definitely stay there again.
Wonderful Location and Plenty of room for 4 adults.
Clean and roomy ground floor apartment in period building. This 2 bedroom with 2 bath had everything we would want for a week in Old San Juan. Great food and all the historic sites in walking distance. Near grocery, pharmacy, restaurants and parks. Walk to the ocean, shopping and the historic fort. The apartment made us feel welcome and even had a washer and dryer. Yes! I would stay here again.

Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted you felt welcomed and enjoyed the apartment’s space, amenities, and convenient location in Old San Juan. We'd love to host you again in the future!
We loved this flat! The floors are gorgeous, high ceilings, beautiful patio, and right smack in the middle of the town. Perfect location, walked everywhere. Love love.
My sister-in-law and I enjoyed this property. The location is amazing. Close to restaurants, shops, and the port. The apartment was clean, well decorated and spacious. The area is very crowded and full of tourist. The noise can get very loud late at night, but the air conditioning units that they supplied us with blocks out most of it. Overall, in spite of the noise factor. I would probably stay here again.
Location is perfect for exploring Old San Juan. Beds were comfortable. Place was clean. It's located in an older building with very high ceilings and on street level, so you will hear street noise. Several AC units and fans were running to keep the things fairly cool, although. Overall , a good place to stay. they can be loud.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and the great location! We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again in the future.
Great apartment centrally located. It was clean and met or exceeded expectations. Only complaint is I don’t feel the communication was very good. I asked for early check in. We were told that there were people checking out same day which wasn’t true.
We stayed for a long weekend. The property was exactly like the pictures, clean and convient to most of Old San Juan. Communication was exceptional from a couple of days before arrival, helping us get into the unit, through checkout.
The location of the property is perfect ig you are looking to stay in a central local of old San Juan. The downside is that you hear everything that is going on out on the streets , so 2am 3am don’t be surprise if you hear yelling or people standing right outside your door smoking and the smell seeps right in. Feels as if they were smoking right inside the apartment. But certain things you can’t control.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the central location in Old San Juan—it's truly a vibrant and unique area. While the lively atmosphere can bring some noise and street activity, we understand how that can affect rest. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again for another memorable stay.
Beautiful apartment with interior patio in excellent location. Many bars and restaurants at few steps.

We stayed for 3 nights and could've spent a week exploring Old San Juan. The apartment is in a great location and we could walk everywhere. There are great restaurants and a grocery store nearby. My only complaint is the bed is a bit firm for my liking, but my husband liked it.
My friends and I stayed here for a week and we enjoyed every minute of it. The house is right in the middle of town and everything is a walk away. The house itself is super cute and comfortable. It had everything we needed and everything we didn’t know we needed. They were super accommodating. Would stay here again!

Nice place in Old San Jaun
We had no power the first day, but that was out of anyone’s control. Host offered to let us cancel- but power came on in a few hours. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

Location was nice and we had everything we needed, yet without A/C, we would've stayed somewhere else. The listing said it had AC, yet the mini splits did not work !!!!!! We were there 5 days, texted her everyday, and no change or communication about it. We payed full price for this stay and it had no AC, she didn't even offer help or reimbursement . At one point, it was dripping water and we had to sleep with our heads where the feet go. It was very uncomfortable for that long and we did not want to spend time in this place due to that and was not a restful trip. Do not listen to the listing saying the ac works , unless you want to sleep in the heat.

Location is ideal if you want to be near bars and restaurants. Unit was nice and clean. Agatha was easy to contact. Unit is on ground level, you’ll get a lot of foot traffic once the bars close and folks can be a bit loud. Wall a/cs are not properly working so portable window units were installed in kitchen and one bedroom - which are loud. Second bedroom wall ac unit doesn’t work and drips behind headboard. We had to use fans to circulate cooler air into bedroom but we made it work and was comfortable. Old San Juan is great and this location is perfect if you looking for nightlife in the city. Unit has everything you need.
Overall we had a great time in Old San Juan. The villa is very spacious and clean. The washer and dryer is very convenient if you pack light and spend a lot of time at the beach. We had a few issues that prevented us from giving this property 5 stars. First we could not find a thermostat to control the AC units that are mounted very high on the wall. The villa was very cold the entire time we were there and we had no means to control temperature. The property manager did not address our concerns related to this. Second the shower faucet in the main bathroom also did not regulate temperature well and was mainly overly hot to scalding. I would be afraid to put a child in this shower. Other than these issues we loved the property and the location

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for choosing to stay with us in Old San Juan. We're glad you enjoyed the spacious layout, cleanliness, and convenient amenities like the washer and dryer.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the AC and shower faucet. As noted in the listing, the original built-in AC units are currently out of service. In the meantime, we’ve installed portable AC units in each room and the living room to ensure guest comfort while we await city approval for the installation of a new system.
We also wanted to let you know that the shower faucet issue has been corrected, along with other minor fixes to enhance the guest experience. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!
Property was just as posted, clean and nice.
They left extra laundry soap so we washed the towels for them before we left.
The hot water control in master bath shower was very difficult to use. Couldn’t adjust was too hot or too cold. Humidity was horrible, the walls collected water and drip. Sheets and clothes felt wet. I feel the dryer needs to be vented. The air went back into apartment and collected more water on walls.
2 nd room ac dripped water onto headboard. Bed was Pulled out from wall and placed a towel placed to keep headboard dry.
AC in master bedroom didn’t get very cool.
We would definitely consider see staying here again and loved the location. Very central to town.
The condo was great & the pictures of it are accurate. It was walking distance to all we wanted to do/see in old town. The AC worked well which was a must have due to the temps & humidity. I would recommend not renting a car unless absolutely necessary. PR's do not drive like mainland Americans & there is no need for a car in old San Juan. Next to the condo (2 Doors down) is a restaurant called St. Germain. I would recommend avoiding it. I do not know how they are still in business. However, there is a place right next door to that called The Mezzanine. They served great cocktails & food. The bartender, Ray, is a fantastic mixologist & also a music student at the university. When he is working he plays wonderful music which you can hear from the front door of the condo. 10/10 would recommend. Also, the info for this place recommends a restaurant for Mallorca. I forget the name but it is now closed for good. Try Cafe Mallorca instead. They were great! I would stay here again on future trips.
The unit has 3 air conditioning split units, one for each room and one for the living area. None of the ACs worked properly and the heat was uncomfortable. Manager sent a handyman that confirmed our message that the units were not working properly but was not a repair man. Repairman never made it to fix the problem. I can understand if one of 3 units has an issue, but the 3 is not ok. Then I read a previous review that complained about the same thing, including not cooling properly and one unit dripping water over a bed. The manager offered a 30% discount which is appreciated.
