We really enjoyed Pelican Retreat. The owners have done a terrific job with the place - crisp clean sheets, fresh paint, recent renovations, lovely garden and perfect location. The fur family loved being able to be indoors and outdoors in safe areas. The Christmas decorations are a lovely homey touch. We could not ask for a better holiday.

About the host

Hosted by Paul

Host profile image
We are very family orientated people and enjoy spending time with our family now including 3 grandchildren. Oh and a couple fur-babies.

We love simple relaxing holidays and have tried to recreate a similar experience for our own guests here in Barmera.

Why they chose this property

The Pelican Retreat is right next to the beautiful Lake Bonney with unrestricted views.
Quite often the simple things in life money just can't buy, and when you sit back on the deck with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese platter and experience nature's magnificence as the sun sets over the lake you'll feel the same too.

What makes this property unique

Unrestricted lake views, pet friendly and fully enclosed back yard, BBQ facilities and front deck.
