Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear the location and accommodations worked perfectly for you, and we truly appreciate your kind words about our hosting. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
We were a group of four couples. Very spacious, we were able to spread out, spend time together or time alone. The rental was very clean and the host was very attentive. We had no issues. Really enjoyed our stay, in the early mornings we’re able to see either elk or deer walk down the road. Worth getting up to see. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I’m delighted to hear the home worked so well for your group and that you enjoyed the cleanliness, spaciousness, and peaceful mornings with the wildlife. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
The property worked very well for our family of 10, aged 2 to 84. We loved that everyone had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The hosts Ric and Jen took care of everything we requested and did so in a timely fashion. The house was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We would definitely stay at this property again.
This house was perfect! We had several families traveling together on this trip, so it was important that we had a bathroom for each bedroom and ample space for privacy. This house was spacious and had a wonderful living and dining area, while bedrooms and deck areas were tucked away separately. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, so we had an added bonus of a special holiday atmosphere!
Our 3-generational family of 11 loved this home with room for all. Each bedroom was so quiet, the decks and patios so welcoming, and the host graciously provided plenty of basic amenities. We enjoyed the table game selections and kept the hot tub in constant use. Ititb
Great for large family or group, and lovely mountain view!
We loved the spaciousness of Amberwood, with plenty of room for us to all spread out, plenty of seats at multiple dining tables, and a variety of outdoor living spaces as well. Having two living spaces / TV viewing areas was also a plus. We enjoyed time on the patio off the kitchen with the great view of the mountains, plus frequent morning deer or elk sightings. The only thing that would have improved our visit would be AC in all bedrooms. The window units in Master and Kitchen worked really well; given that we were in Flag during the weeks of record heat, it was toasty in the other bedrooms.
Our hosts were responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Property management is bad
They had a hot tub we could not use for the first two nights. The fireplace out back didn’t work. Screen doors broken. Dishes were dirty had to re wash. We found dog poop under dining room table. They only responded with chat gpt responses. House was pretty good. They need to manage a lot better.

Thankfully seasoned VRBO/Homeaway users can see through a one-off review like this. This is an unfair depiction of your stay. Only one of these items came up in communication during yoru stay. And the only negative feedback on anything came when you were made aware of neighbor complaints in regards to noise and/or an unautherized party. We are VERY efficient in handling guest issues when given the opportunity.
Awesome home! Huge! Tons of space. Well stocked. Great location. Quiet neighborhood.
Amazing home with tons of space to spread out and relax and enjoy family, multi-family, familyfriends or whatever your situation calls for with lots of people. Several different "wings" of the house that allow people to have their own space including full bathrooms. Very cool kids climb-up loft secret play area. Amazing communication, check-in, check-out, and overall rental experience. There were a couple of extremely minor maintenance issues: we were notified that the master bedroom fireplace was out of service - no problem there as we didn't use any of the fireplaces at all. The ice maker in the main fridge, while making ice, didn't dispense and therefore contained one huge mass of ice that had fused together due to lack of use. So we cleaned that out. We could not figure out how to use the trash compactor but no inconvenience there either. Nothing even worth notifying the owner about. Otherwise zero issues. Hot tub was already hot and ready to use. House was super clean all over. Would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to get back to Flagstaff!
The house is beautiful and the kitchen is well stocked for a family gathering. Definitely inviting for families of all ages with pack and plays and play room. Lots of space indoor and outdoor. Outside decks have plenty of seats to enjoy the surroundings.
We had a great week with our three adult children, their spouses and four small children—two 2 year olds and two 4 month old infants. There was plenty of space for all of us yet individual families able to have separate spaces. Beautiful outside areas and the spa was great for the adults in the cold night air. Quite a few stairs but most in short sets so reasonable. Plenty of kitchen equipment for a large group with many cooks. Also toys and dishes for the little ones though they had brought their own. Owners were quick to respond to questions.
Perfect setting to gather for the long wedding weeke
My cousins flew in for my daughters wedding weekend in Flagstaff. The house was exactly the perfect home to gather but also have put separate sleeping areas. My daughter and her bridesmaids got ready in the master suite and had hair and makeup in the large dining room. Each night we all hung out on the two large patios. Don’t hesitate to look further! This is a wonderful rental in the mountains.
The entire process of renting this home was very enjoyable. Communication was great, check in was easy and the home itself is just stunning- very clean and comfortable for a large group with various age ranges. Everyone slept well and had plenty of privacy.
Excellent Communication, Great Location, very Comfortable, property was as described.
I will definitely rent this VRBO next time we are in the area. Excellent management, property was very comfortable and well stocked with everything that may be needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The check in process was super easy. The house is stunning! Whoever decorated it has great taste. I jokingly told my huband on more than one occasion to ask the owners if they wanted to sell. Lol. There were 7 of us, ages 15 -70+, and with 5 bedrooms AND 5 bathrooms, there was more than enough room for everyone. All of the bedrooms, with the exception of 1, have ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked and well as all cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and toiletries. The new hot tub they just installed was incredibly relaxing under the stars and full moon after a full day of activities. We wanted to use the outdoor dining space and grill but never had time. Our last day there, we were given a wonderful farewell by 12+ elk in our yard and driveway. They went about their business regardless of the fact that all 7 of us were standing on the front porch watching them. We would definitely use this home and property owners again.
