Whether you are an adventure-seeker or simply in need of relaxation by the lake, we believe you will find your ideal getaway at Spruce Chalet. Winter, spring, summer, or fall: experience the natural beauty and recreation of Hayward, Wisconsin in a modern, bright, and comfortable space, with breathtaking sunset views. The three bedroom, two bathroom Spruce Chalet sleeps up to 8 guests.

We are also excited to be able to offer a vacation spot for groups of up to 21 total guests, if you book the Spruce Chalet along with our neighboring lakeside cabin, the White Birch Retreat, and its guest cabin (see VRBO listing #851715 for property details). A unique option for gatherings of family and friends for holidays, events, or any time! Our property allows for privacy, but with everyone in close proximity to create lasting memories with your loved ones. With this option, you would be booking three adjacent structures with a total of 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

*Snowmobile trail system accessible from the property; ATV trails nearby

*Just steps from the White Birch main cabin, our guest cabin shares a lake view and expands your living space
*Vaulted ceiling with gorgeous wood beams and huge sleeping loft w/queen bed and two (2) twin beds (sleeps 4)(please note that loft is accessible by ladder only)
*Private bathroom with shower for your convenience
*Kitchenette with sink, microwave, coffee maker, and full-sized refrigerator
*Living/dining room with futon (for added sleeping capacity +2) and walnut dining table for 4-6, plus flat screen TV w/DVD and cable
*Guest cabin is fully equipped with all utilities and can be used in all seasons

THE GREAT OUTDOORS
*Lakeside decks with sunset views, charcoal grills, outdoor dining and lounge furniture
*Private docks on Lake Hayward, dock your pontoon or fishing boat or rent one in town
*Included with your stay: one tandem kayak and one aluminum canoe (if both properties rented: add one additional tandem kayak, two single kayaks, and one child-size kayak for 6 total watercraft)
*Watercraft/tube rentals and/or guided tours and river trips available in Hayward
*Recreational fishing (including northern pike, panfish, bass, musky, trout, and walleye), plenty of panfish for fishing off the dock
*Level frontage with shallow sandy bottom (please note there is not a "beach" and there is some vegetation in the water; Hayward City Beach is a short drive or kayak/boat ride away)
*Enjoy the sights and sounds of wildlife, including loons fishing near the cabin and bald eagles perching in our tallest pine trees
*Close to Hayward Beach, Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum, and the World Lumberjack Championships
