South Lake Tahoe's vacation rental ordinance is one of the strictest in the country and we make an extra effort to communicate the rules very clearly since we’d hate for any of our guests to be surprised with an expensive fine on their vacation. We appreciate you letting us know about the heat issue. We have inspected the heating in this home to make sure it is fully functional for future stays. For future guests to note, our Guest Relations team is available seven days a week from 9 AM–6 PM Pacific by text, phone, email, and Airbnb messaging, with after-hours support available for urgent concerns. We encourage reaching out so we can step in quickly to resolve issues whenever possible.  We truly value your feedback, as it helps guide the continual improvement of our homes.

Kimberly, thank you for being a great return customer of ours. We’re glad to hear your group was very comfortable in this fabulously updated unit, that you enjoyed the prime location of the home, and that the ceiling fans were helpful with the heat. Although this unit is updated throughout, some of the windows are the originals and we’re sorry we had to find an alternative way to keep one of them propped open for your stay. You are correct in that Fourth of July is the busiest week of the summer and when the crowds are at their highest peak. For any future stays, parking at Lakeland Village is an open lot and this home has passes for two cars. If you see unregistered cars taking spaces for guests, please let us or the staff at Lakeland Village know so the problem can be addressed. Air conditioning is certainly a rare find in Tahoe, which is why we provide portable fans in every bedroom.
