Our stay was only 2 nights but we enjoyed the location for the lovely surroundings and quiet countryside. Good location for day trips to Pancake Blowholes and Gorge suspension bridge.
A wonderful stay in a central location. Lovely peaceful spot, open fire was very cosy, very clean and tidy and comfortable. We loved it! Thank you for your hospitality Prue! Natalie.
This home had all we needed for our 4 night stay. It is very close to Greymouth if you need to stock up on things. It was a great base while exploring the west coast.
The bache is very comfortable and in a great location for exploring the area. Could have done with some bedside cupboards and lights in the 2nd bedroom otherwise okFire is lovely.

Thank you for your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed Westie. We had chosen to not put bedside tables and lamps in the 2nd bedroom to keep the room as uncluttered as we could, the main light switch is very close to the bed, and we also provide low glow night light if required.
A cosy winter stay in a typical kiwi bach. Fire was great when it got going, but make sure you get up an hour early to warm the place before the kids wake up close to Brunner mining area for walks and exploring and Greymouth 10 mins away for shops. Prue was a wonderful host who gave us tips on where to visit. Would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed staying at this holiday home. It had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable with lots of extra blankets if needed. The fire quickly heated the whole place. A great location to explore around Greymouth.

Lovely retro cottage with all amenities, including a much needed washing machine. Great bed, so many blankets to snuggle up in and a lovely wood burner to keep us cozy in the mornings.
The very good burner kept us warm over a storm. The kitchen has all the necessities, there were some toys for kids. We loved our stay here. Thank you Prue!
