We had an excellent stay! The place was clean and had everything we needed. Beach access was incredibly convenient, and the location itself is great with pretty much everything you need super close by. Would stay again!
Location was great! We loved being right by the beach and the pool was fantastic for the kids. The unit was pretty dirty when we checked in....lots of sand everywhere and didn't seem like it had been vacuumed.
We completely enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect even though we didn’t have a direct beach view. The path to the beach was steps away from our door and we could still hear the waves. We’ll definitely be coming back
Got married on the island, had to stay at the Quay!! Each bedroom had a deck, the pool was ready to go (the weather was a bit chilly but that's the season) and the access to the beach could be difficult depending on mobility issues. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay and my wife and I had a great time with our kids and friends.
We had an excellant stay at QE3. It was a home away from home ocean front. Hubby birthday and he loves to fish. Gets alittle warm on top floor but nothing a fan cant fix. House had everything i needed for the week. Would definitely book again
This would be a nice property for summer rentals when there is use of the pool deck for more outside space, but we did enjoy coffee on the porch in the mornings. The twin bedroom inside and sliding door didn’t sit securely and rattled in the wind during our April Nor’Easter. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated having the extra blankets in the upstairs rooms, the kitchen table was perfect for meals and board games, and three full bathrooms were a plus for 5 occupants. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach, Duck Donuts, Manteo, and Jockey Ridge. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals, but could benefit from the addition of tall water glasses. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was older but in good condition with newer kitchen countertops and updated bathrooms. We discovered several small issues, such as a kitchen sink disposal not working, a coffee maker that leaked all the time and a damaged hinge on the mast bedroom door that prevented the door from closing. Village Realty was very responsive and had someone come out within hours to fix the issues.
When we first arrived, the heat was under-performing but it was only about 25 degrees out and with wind gusts of about 30MPH. I contacted the emergency line and they were very responsive and had a technician out in less than 24 hrs. The gentleman was super nice and accommodating. Turns out, there was nothing wrong with the heat. The issue was with a huge draft at the front door.
The property was very spacious and the description was spot on. The property was clean and well-appointed with all the cooking tools needed as well as enough toiletries to get you started. The location was great as well - there was a Fresh Market, Food Lion, a small outlet mall and lots of other shops within either walking distance or just a short drive away. The outside patio furniture was in great condition as well.
There were so many positives to staying here and my family and I would stay here again without a question. Thank you for being such great hosts, Village Realty!
The location is really nice. It’s a quick walk over the dunes and your at the beach. It was very lo key and not too many people. I got the concierge tent setup and that made our beach days a lot nicer. Not sure what the whole outer banks beach looks like but this area is kind of a steep incline to the water so the waves hit hard and it was difficult to watch the kiddo from the top of the shoreline. Still really beautiful and we played plenty in the ocean. The pool is big and clean. It also never got crazy busy. I was worried that the pool noise would be loud in The condo but you could barely hear it with the doors closed. The condo itself is dated but was clean. The couch wasn’t comfortable but the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The master bedroom sink was clogged when we arrived which I reported. They sent someone over in 2 days time to fix it. They provided a small bar of soap per bathroom and 1 small roll of toilet paper per bathroom. There were 3 trash bags, small thing of dish soap, a sponge, and 1 load of dishwasher detergent. No laundry detergent, no coffee, no shampoo. All this ran out pretty quickly so plan a trip to the grocery store for this type of stuff. The towels were super thin. All fairly minor cons. Overall it’s a decent condo, nice pool, and great location.

Although property is beach front , the dunes are so high that there is no beach view unless one is on a deck, and then it is a diagonal view. The pool backs up to the very high dune. Kitchen well appointed, Furnishings ok, upholstered pieces need to be professionally cleaned. Area rugs (except for 2 bedrooms and dining room rugs need to be replaced. One in living room looks like dog chewed it. Housekeeping has done a poor job . Too much sand under the rugs, dirt and dust under all beds, old and soiled seat and back cushion on papason chair. Ice maker won’t shut off so ice was overflowing into freezer. Some lamps did not have working light bulbs, and there were none visible to replace them. A few overhead bulbs were also burned out. Entryway was not welcoming outside or inside; 2 dirty floor mats on entry concrete, one filthy throw rug inside entry. Runner in hallway should be removed immediately. I was going to do so but there was so much sand under it, I decided to leave it. Nice artwork on walls and fresh paint. Baseboards and shoe molding very dusty ! Lock in front door was old and didn’t give me a feeling of being safe. Sometimes we had to enter code 2 or 3 times before it opened the door. I assumed that I was getting a top notch condo with ocean view based on the price we paid . Very very disappointed. I shared all of this with the rental manager. She took notes.
