Cactus Flower Cottage is a charming 1-bedroom cottage nestled in Fish Bay, one of St. John's quietest neighborhood. Built amoungst 200 year old ruins still visable on property. Enjoy fresh papaya, coconut and other fruit from trees throughout the gardens when in season. A 10-minute ride from Cruz Bay on paved roads. The cottage includes a full kitchen, covered deck, outside private native stone shower, established landscaping, air-conditioning in the bedroom, cable TV, high-speed internet, solar hot water, water view of Fish Bay and the Caribbean Sea. Guests at the cottage have full use of the pool, which is adjacent to the main house. North Shore Beach access is a 5-10 minute drive. South Shore Beaches, historic ruin sites and National Park Trails are walking distance. Vehicle rental is strongly recommended. Taxi service is also easy.

Joe is a licensed contractor on St John. Tina is a Finance Manager and Real Estate Agent. Our combined family includes 3 daughters who attend college and highschool in the Carolinas. And a son who works and lives in Charlotte, NC. Joe has lived on St. John since 1974 when his parents moved here with their 7 kids. Two siblings and his parents still live on St. John. Tina has lived on St John since 2004 and previously in the 80’s.
Why they chose this property
Joe found a unique piece of property with historical ruins and pictured building his dream home. He first designed and built Cactus Flower to live in. The cottage has all custom woodworking throughout. He and Tina now live in the main house that he also designed and built. Joe and Tina also own the adjoining property.
What makes this property unique
The cottage and main villa encompass 250 year old ruins. Together with the adjoining property, there are fruit trees and gardens to enjoy.
