The Space:
Perfectly situated in the middle of East Dennis, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, sits Acorn Ranch, the ideal location for your next vacation to Cape Cod! This 3 bedroom ranch-style house will be a comfortable home away from home to return to after a long day of vacation adventure!

Walking up the custom brick walkway you first see an inviting living room with flat screen TV. Through the living room is a dining area that connects out to the deck through a slider and has a nice view of the backyard area. To the right of the dining area is a full kitchen with plenty of cabinets and counter space. Down the hallway to the left is a full bathroom with shower/tub combo, two bedrooms with a queen size bed, and a third bedroom with two twin beds with room for six. Downstairs the high ceilinged basement is the perfect location to enjoy the ping pong table if you are feeling competitive. Also in the basement is a washer and dryer.

Outside of Acorn Ranch you will find plenty of space outdoors to relax and enjoy the beautiful Cape Cod weather. There is a deck with a propane grill that looks out onto the well-kept backyard. Walking down the deck stairs and past the stone beds and steps, you will be on the lush grass with plenty of area for lawn games and relaxation. Enjoy an evening drink on the stone patio or cool down after a day in the sun in the connected outdoor shower.

Scenic East Dennis is a beautiful area from which to base your Cape Cod vacation. Enjoy a lobster roll next to the harbor at the Sesuit Harbor Cafe (2.6 miles), hit the golf course at Dennis Highlands (.9 miles) or Dennis Pines (1.9 miles) or just spend your days soaking up the sea and the sand at beautiful Corporation Beach (3.4 miles).

Whichever way you choose to spend your time on the Cape we are confident Acorn Ranch will be a great base for your next visit!

Cute House/Strong Odor!

The location of the home was more than ideal as well as it being more than enough room for our family. Unfortunately, because of the overwhelmingly strong musty/mildewy smell throughout the house, we only stayed one of the two nights we booked.

Great location and serene yard

A great place to stay! The Pros The deck and back yard are as good as in the photos. The deck overlooks a private, nature-filled back yard. Birders and nature lovers will enjoy the great variety of birds including great crested flycatchers, ovenbirds, eastern towhee, pine warblers, and of course all the usual yard birds. There are trails behind the house that lead to two pristine (Simmons) ponds. The house was very clean. They do a good job of cleaning between guest visits. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The first time we have ever experienced that in a rental! The bedding and towels, which were provided were clean, uniform (not a crazy mess of ancient mismatched sheets) and of good quality. There was central a/c. While we didn't need it much during our week it was great appreciated. The front door entrance lock was easy to use. Quiet street and nice neighbors. The management company, Del Mar, seem to be very well run and do a great job. We wouldn't hesitate to rent a property from them again. The Cons There is really no comfortable chair in the house (at least for older folks). A single bathroom is a bit cramped for 6 adults but we made it work. A family with two adults and kids would get by fine. The stairs to the basement (where the laundry is) are very steep so tricky for me with my bad knees. The kitchen is slim pickens and not tailored to cooks but very clean. So if you like to cook you'll want to bring utensils/supplies beyond the basics.

The house was exactly as described. The neighborhood was good family neighborhood.

House was great..all amenities included. The laundry area was great size and clean, newer appliances in place. The deck is great! We enjoyed our stay
