Stay with us on the sand! Our Gulf-front studio is like your very own small "casita" on top of the dunes. Plus, we won't break the bank!

As you walk in, you are greeted with an AMAZING beach front view. NOTHING is between you and the sea breezes and sound of the ocean. This corner unit is especially amazing by the fact that not only do you have a private balcony but also 3 large windows surrounding your living area.

Relax and enjoy a drink on the private balcony. The sunrises and sunsets are nothing less than spectacular. Enjoy the fun and beachy casual decor throughout.

Sleep like a dream listening to the sounds of the sea on the comfy plush eurotop mattress! You will find our new queen Murphy bed just right to maximize our space. Perfect for a couple or small family! Sofa sleeper included!

Kitchen is fully equipped with full sized appliance and all the basics to enjoy a full meal and save by dining in! You will find the size "just right".

Located on the 3rd level, corner unit, you are just steps away from some of the whitest beaches in the world. Complete with tennis courts, basketball, putting green, shuffleboard, horse shoes, outdoor grilling areas, (6) outdoor pools, Kiddie pool, 3 hot tubs, sauna, fitness center, free Wi-Fi, and 24/7 guard security complete with guarded entrance. In addition, Championship golf at Kiva Dunes is just next door. Enjoy the seclusion and privacy away from the traffic of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, but still have access to the amenities they offer only 12 miles away. Local attractions include Charter Boat Fishing, Historic Fort Morgan, Waterville U.S.A. water park, Tanger Outlet Mall, OWA theme park with outdoor and indoor wave pool and slides as well as a host of other restaurants, shops, and fun activities.

There is a $40 vehicle registration fee per vehicle, max. 2 per stay. I will send a link with instructions to purchase this a few days before check in.

Also equipped with streaming Direct TV and DVD player.
The Roku tv allows for app downloads as well.
Our unit comes complete with starter paper, 8 count towel set and full linen. Card swipe or app driven laundry facility is located on the ground floor with the other building amenities (indoor hot tub, saunas, fitness room) exclusive to the Dunes.

And don't forget the heated indoor pool which provides a pleasant option for the whole family.

Quick beach trip

Great property, exactly as described. Wonderful view. The condo had everything we needed and the host was very responsive to questions. Very nice amenities in this well-maintained complex. Only issue we had was that the mattress was a little too soft for someone with a bad back. But mattress preferences are very individual.

Ocean front view studio on peninsula.

First time at Gulf Shores. Stayed for the month of February. Resort was 12 miles off main road on a peninsula. We loved it, it was quiet there. The resort was very clean and well kept inside and outside on grounds. We stayed in a cute studio. It was ocean front with full view of ocean from balcony and windows. Loved that we could overlook the pools and courtyard from our room also. The room was perfect for just two people. Had everything we needed in it, and felt comfortable. Unit was very clean. Many amenities at the resort. Pools were very nice and clean. Out door pools not heated so they are cold in February. Very nice large indoor pool was nice and warm. Many retired couples there for month of February. Everyone we met was very friendly. Many come back every year. We will be going back again next year also. We had a great time. Adam was a great host. Communication with him was easy. Check in was very easy. Gated community.

Fort Morgan Stay

Adam is a fantastic host! The room was spotless and he tended to our concerns in a timely manner! The room is directly above the Sassy Bass Grill at the Plantations Resort. Had we known this we would not have booked this room. Sassy Bass plays loud music while open for business. (We couldn’t believe how loud it was during the breakfast hour as well.) We had very few moments on the balcony without the loud music and restaurant patrons conversing loudly. I can’t imagine how much louder it would have been if we were there in season. This is not the fault of the owner but we do feel the location of the room should be disclosed. The Plantation’s indoor heated pool and hot tub had been struck by lightning on 4/28 right before our arrival date. We departed on 5/8 and that facility never did reopen. The jets on the outside hot tub between the pools did not work. We were told it would be just a couple days before it would be prepared. It was not repaired prior to 5/8. The hot tub on the other side of the building complex had caution tape around it and was not in use. There’s another huge pool that is completely under construction and unavailable. There is a very nice hot tub inside building 5 that we were able to use but there wasn’t always room for everyone with a capacity of 10 for the entire resort. Our stay in Fort Morgan was amazing regardless. The staff at all attractions/restaurants in the area were so polite! We highly recommend the area!!!

Thank you for the review Dawn. Just to clear up a couple of things. The indoor pool does not have a hot tub. The outdoor hot tub at the east build was open the morning of 5/5. I checked it myself. Our indoor hot tub is not for the whole resort. The 5 buildings to the west do not have access since they have their own indoor pool and indoor hot tub. I have never been able to hear noise from the restaurant with windows and the sliding door shut. I will however closely be monitoring this in the future. It is difficult to put a noise level in the description when after thousands of guests only 2 have ever mentioned it.

Wedding wknd getaway

We stayed there for the weekend before we left on our honeymoon & had the wedding on the beach right under our room. It was perfect! We got loads of amazing pics there too. We plan to try to come back for an anniversary trip. Just a heads up, bring your own hairdryer because we couldn't find one. 10 out of 10!

All was well except the construction outside the side window. But this is understandable since they were still recovering from Hurricane Sally. This is our only complaint. (Adam did text to let us know ahead of time about the construction and to apologize.)

Beach is beautiful here and even though it's a large complex, it's quiet and peaceful. The unit is very clean and well appointed. I had trouble with the tv the day I arrived and the owner came right over and fixed it- no hassle! I hope to return soon.
