Rendezvous at Northstar_3 Story High End Condo, Nest, Alexa, Remote Fireplace, Smart TV's +NPOA Pass

Hi Jim and thank you for the 5 Star review! We wanted to let you know that the fireplace works. It just so happens that we always shut the gas line off by June since it begins to get warm around this time each year. As a reminder, being that we are a local management company, you could have reached out at any time during your stay. Hello Martina, County STR Rules, Taking Trash Outside, and Starting 1 Load of Laundry... We cannot understand why any of this is deserving of a 3 STAR review when there was nothing wrong with our home or during your stay. We would like the opportunity to mention that the STR Rules are in fact Placer County Short Term Rental Rules that were put in place in 2021. It's our duty to inform our guests, so they are emailed prior to arrival and are in the Guest Binder, so why are you saying they are posted everywhere in the home when they are not? Northstar has public garbage bins (no trash pickup service at condos), so Northstar Guests are asked to take their garbage to the dumpster that is conveniently located on the same street, or the main dumpsters located near the entrance of Northstar Road. At our other properties throughout Truckee, we ask Guests to place their garbage in the Bear Box at departure. We feel that this is not too much to ask. Lastly, we have always asked our guests to start a load of laundry at checkout to assist our housekeepers and it's been well received at all of our properties for over 5 years. Hello, we're glad you enjoyed all the care that has gone into managing and caring for our rental home, but we're quite displeased with your review and reaction to our informative emails in regards to local Town of Truckee & Nevada County STR Rules. We did not make these rules, but they apply to all STRs in both Nevada & Placer County, and it's our duty to make sure all Guests understand so it's a wonderful stay for all involved and the industry persists in our area. We ask all Guests to sign a Docu-Sign Guest Agreement as stated on the listing, we email Check In/Out Details 5 days prior for your convenience, and we share an STR Rules email 2 days and 1 day prior to arrival. We're sorry a few emails put you out, but this has been our practice for 7 years and is both professional and typically well received. 3 STARS is quite disappointing, and unfair, and as a result we kindly ask you to choose other properties in the area besides ours in the future. Hi Tracy, we're sorry to see that you were not satisfied with our place but there seems to be quite a bit of confusion here. Less than 5% of properties in the greater Tahoe area have AC. We all open windows at night and shut them in the morning to keep our homes cool. We do not mark AC as an amenity, but we do in fact describe right on our listing that the Rec Passes for the NPOA is $10/person. No Condo's in Northstar have Bear Boxes or a Trash service, so all must take their garbage to the public Northstar Dumpsters, as described on the check-in/out details provided prior to arrival and posted in the home. We apologize for missing a call and can assure you that we are both easy to reach and very responsive. In the future please leave a voicemail and/or email us. Lastly, no we did not change the door combo so we're really not sure what you may have done differently that time you tried but we also have a backup lock box next to the front door in case of lockouts. Besides missing a call, everything here was described on the listing or in material provided in advance and in the home.
