Located in the highly-demanded community of Oyster Bay I, you'll enjoy the peaceful, quiet area nestled amongst the tall pines and marsh grasses. The main living area features a fantastic open floor plan; perfect for gathering the family and entertaining. The back of the house features a bright sunroom that looks out over a natural preserve - cozy up with a cup of coffee and a nice book! This home also features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (completely remodeled) and has undergone a lot of fresh new upgrades! There's a little sitting deck out back, a screened porch, covered picnic/game area (with cornhole boards), fish cleaning station, and so much more! And, as if that's not enough, there are water views and you're very close to the Oyster Bay Community water access! Don't delay - Serenity at Oyster Bay is sure to book quickly!

Excellent Choice

We just needed a quiet getaway for a few days to spend some time away from our busy day time. The house was perfect and the community welcoming. I can’t wait to go back in September.

"Serenity": Scenic, Secluded and Spacious.

This is a nice house in a beautiful neighborhood. It was just a little tight for 7 adults and 2 young children. The property backs onto marshland with scenic canals running through nearby. Egrets, herons and ibises hung out in the canals. We brought kayaks and paddled to see the sunrise from the nearby launch area. You cannot park at the launch area, so some shuttling with cars is necessary. The beach was not nearby, but it was a short drive across the causeway. We played croquet and enjoyed a fire in the back yard, and played games on the screened porch. The interior was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped, but the addition of a simple broom would be welcome for quick sand clean up. The electric broom and vacuum were more complicated to use.

We started renting a few years back, and have had nothing but pleasant service with Chincoteague Resorts. They are always pleasant whether on the phone or in person. I highly recommend Chincoteague Resorts. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂

We had a great stay at Serenity on Oyster Bay. The house was sparkling clean, very comfortable and cozy. It was the perfect, quiet location for exploring the refuge. The reason why I can‘t give it 5 stars is the not very attractive outside space (didn‘t bother us in Nov., but might be an issue for visitors in spring and summer). While the house has a beautiful natural area in the back, the very small back deck looks mainly on utilities and neighboring house. Also ,the plastic mattress coverings are awful. Aside from these two points, we were very happy there.

Absolutely exceeded our expectations!! We were awestruck upon opening the front door!! Spectacular! This was our third summer in CI and by far the BEST experience and rental! The home was so clean, classy, perfectly appointed and charming! Many laughs were shared around the large table and the vibe is warm, welcoming and super spacious yet cozy (quite an accomplishment!) I enjoyed coffee and books on the sun porch each morning while my husband hogged the master bed and shower (he historically only likes his bed at home so kudos on the mattress!) We jogged, biked and swam daily to offset our Whippys and donuts! My sister owns a home on Piney Island and my beat friend resides in Oyster Bay 2; we had the best home by far!! One Tuesday, I took the nieces and nephews out for paddle board adventures… two tuckered out and had to be “rescued” by Gary Howard and his waterman!! The true kindness and generosity of Chincoteague! Thank YOU Serenity

Our stay was wonderful. The house is lovely; well furnished, nice aesthetic, very comfortable and cozy. Everything is clean and seems quite new The one-level living was perfect for our party and the neighborhood was secluded and quiet. Ate many meals on the screen porch. Only suggested "upgrade" would be to the grill, as it functions, but isn't great. Hope to be able to stay at Serenity again, it was fantastic.

So many laughs were shared around the large table and it is truly the heart of this awesome home. Each room is spacious and comfortable yet somehow cozy! The master bedroom bed is fantastic and the shower was ideal after sunny beach days and early morning jogs/biking to burn off Sandy Pony and Whippys! Quiet mornings with coffee in the sun room were a daily fave! This house was absolutely exceptional!

It is very tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The location is great for exploring the refuge. It‘s close to everything yet removed from the traffic noise. There is a very nice natural area in the back. In November,we didn‘t spend any time in the outside areas, which would be the only drawback for us in the warmer seasons. The very nice screened front porch overlooks driveways,cars and houses. The very small back deck overlooks what I believe to be sump pump etc.In sum, the indoors and location are 5 stars. The outdoor area, while clean and tidy,could use some tlc.
