The property was very clean and management is responsive. The area is under construction but that does not affect the stay. My family enjoyed our stay, it was a lovely home! Only area of opportunity is that I wished there was more cookware such as bigger pots and utensils for the grill, just something to keep in mind for longer stays and bigger families who prefer home cooking. Other than that, great experience with this property, will definitely use again!

Our stay was great! The property is beautiful! except when I woke up one morning and found my car windshield broken. I called IHM and found out there were no cameras by the property. They gave me phone number to call and I keep going around in circles. I was told a manager will call it’s been 2 weeks after my stay and I haven’t received a call from anyone. I wouldn ’t stay again because of security reasons.

The house was in the middle of a construction site!
The house was nice but it was in the middle of a construction site - with cement trucks arriving before 7am, construction workers were outside the house, debris of cement chunks wires and pipes we’re all over the grass. Additionally when we tried to leave the house to go out to dinner, we could not lock the front door, the battery had lost contact and the keypad would not lock the door. We couldn’t leave the house. I rarely give bade reviews but this place had too many negative elements outside of the pretty looking house.

We'd love to have the chance to give you a better stay in a location that doesn't have active construction. As the days go on, construction will clear out but I can imagine staying in the midst of that can be unsettling for some people.

We have stayed at storey lake before with a wonderful experience. This time I would say not so much. This particular condo . The check in process was horrible. The lines were long. We spent over an hour just to get into the gate. There was 1 person doing check in. They had 2 people standing outside doing absolutely NOTHING. The days following, they had the gate blocked if you were already checked in and you still had to wait in the line to get back to your place even though you had already been checked in. The fire alarm was beeping when we arrived, 3 messages, multiple texts no one came to address. My husband had to go buy new batteries to stop the beeping himself as no one wanted to come out. 3 hours and 11PM we finally were able to resolve ourselves. The morning after our arrival we could not leave the house as the batteries on the door lock were dead and we could not lock the door. We were told someone would be there in an hour. There was an extremely foul odor from under the fridge. We ask to be addressed on our first day.. It was NEVER addressed during the stay. We pulled the fridge out ourselves and came to the realization that it was something in the drip pan we could do nothing about. So we had to deal with it for 5 days. No one cared or bothered to address. Again, we stayed before without issue, but this time was not the same. I am not sure I could recommend others to stay at this time.

We rented 2 places this trip. This one was not as nice as the other. We had no problem with getting through the gate however, so that was good. The house was not as well equipped as others I have rented. The towels were of low quality. There were zero hand towels for any of the bathrooms so we were using wash cloths. It lists that a hairdryer is provided. Well, there was one. Upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and one hair dryer to share. The door code we were given did not work so I had to call to get help. That took awhile even though the assistant was nice. Standing outside in record cold weather trying to get in. A coffee maker was provided but no filters. Just not my best VRBO experience.

Not what we had hoped for
When approaching the property, there was a lot of construction that we were not made aware of prior. Lots of dust, and debris affected allergies and created a very dusty environment.
The house was decorated nicely, but there was NOTHING amenity-wise. One pod for dishwasher, 1/2 roll of paper towels, a half-used roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. At least give us our own fresh rolls. The bath towels were soo thin and cheap. Plus, no pool towels as they stated the house would have, so we had to purchase our own. I reached out to the management company on the computer screen they have in the house, and I received a text that someone would be in touch - I never heard back from anyone.
The worst and most frustrating part was at 11 pm the house next door (they are attached so you can hear everything) was having a loud party. I tried calling the security number they provided on the screen and security informed me that they no longer work for that development and I had to call the local police. 2 hours later, yes, it took 2 hours, the music finally stopped. I don't blame the management for the noise, but I do for the lack of correct information they provided. Plus the house is so cheaply built, that you can hear the upstairs people walking. Plus the houses are back up to each other so when you are outside in the backyard, you are literally looking into someone else's house.
We have stayed in many VRBOs and never have we had this lack of communication before. What was described in what the house featured was misrepresented. We would not stay on this property again nor with the management company.
