Almost heaven?

The view and location was spectacular; high end technology, but unfortunately we had poor wifi connection. The wine cooler was gorgeous! I appreciate the cleaning service at the end of our stay, but it would have been helpful to have a broom available for general maintenance over our 5-day stay. I believe the listing included a hairdryer, but one wasn't found. The carpet and couch in the living room could use a good cleaning, mainly for pet hair. One of the beds was filled with pet hair as well.

The house has great potential but it is not being well maintained. Beautiful view from the bluff.

It is a nice house. The property is beautiful, but water access isn’t great. (Steep hill, no beach, marshy water). We had lots of frustrations with the house and very poor communication from the property manager. We only had access to two of the 3 showers- we were told not to use one because of a leak. Amenities weren’t what we expected: the barbecue grill was too rusty to use; the bunk house was not clean and smelled very musty, no hair dryer, not enough bedding.

St Williams with a view !

We loved the privacy and the stunning views ( especially the sunrises ) The house was clean and except for the lack of a microwave and kettle the kitchen was well stocked. Would recommend it for a family getaway and perhaps we’ll be back again.

Memories were made!!

Many beautiful memories were made during our weekend stay. This house is beautifully renovated (modern and sleek) and very clean. The outdoor living space is AMAZING. We enjoyed all of our meals and many s'mores on the patio. The view of Lake Erie is STUNNING!!! However (HEADS-UP): 1. The house is located at the top of a hill (hence the gorgeous views), however, if you experience mobility issues or have small children (we do), then the walk to and from the dock is STEEP!! The house has very little beach access. There is a dock at the bottom of the hill, however the water is filled with lots of seaweed...not practical at all for swim purposes. The beautiful Long Point provincial park (which we visited daily) is a 10 -15 minute car drive away. If you own a boat, this is the house for you. 2. The house does not sleep 12.....it sleeps 8 comfortably (we had to re-arrange our sleep situations). There is a bunky at the bottom of the hill, near the dock, however, it is quite dark and shadowy (nestled among the trees) and the bunky contains a sofa bed. We travelled with very young children, thus not very convenient. 3. The WiFi was wonky, at best. We communicated with the owner and they answered, after a short wait. 4. This is so very minor, but the kitchen cupboards could be organized better. For example, glasses are stored in various cupboards, etc. Keeping similar stuff together is helpful.
