The house was very well set up. A thoughtful range of excellent quality toiletries, kitchen supplies & games for amusement. It was spotlessly clean & additional blankets & towels were provided as well as heaters & fans for each room although we didn’t need them for our stay.

Perfect place to stay with a group of friends!
Plenty of space for everyone to lounge around, and a huge table for communal meals.
Clean and practical kitchen, 2 toilets, AND a double shower.
Super leafy and secluded, and so close to the beach!
We loved our stay and would definitely book again

Thank you so much, Grace, for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the so much of what Little Tara has to offer. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future!
We had a great stay at Little Tara. The location was good, close to the shops and the beach.
All the property amenities provided worked and check in was easy.
We absolutely loved Little Tara..adult, teen, and dog all agreed! Wonderful house with everything we could possibly need and great location, we have already booked to return :)
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Tara. The property was clean, beds comfy and kitchen well equipped. It was great to have the beach just down the road, so no need to deal with finding a park on a summer’s day.
Thoroughly recommend.

Property is tucked away among towering gumtrees and boulders on a quiet street bordering the National Park and two fabulous beaches in Killcare and Putty Beach (both dog friendly). Like living in nature one minute and beach living the next.
The property was well presented and equiped and really I couldn't have asked for more. Great value too!

We originally booked for a 4 night stay. Our circumstances changed & we took the opportunity to extend for another 4 nights as we loved Little Tara, Killcare, the cafes & beaches so much. After a stressful 12 months this was the perfect getaway for us. We had a couple of hot (mid 30s nights) in the middle & even though we had no air-con there were plenty of Dyson fans & the wonderful afternoon sea breeze to make the nights enjoyable. The beach was an easy 300 mtr walk & you easily hear the waves at night for a peaceful sleep. Lovely hardwood floors & comfy beds just add appeal. We didn't use the supplied coffee maker as it's 2 minute drive to the local cafes for great coffee. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for allowing us to have Ziggy, our Weimeraner, stay with us. He loved the dog friendly beaches.
This cottage is all you need for this location. It is humble and offers enough space for 6 people. Although the third bedroom is more suited for kids, my friend and i, in our 60th, used it. The past reviews noted a broken and not fully operating blind in the bunk bedroom and the problem had not been solved yet. The 2 bedrooms with Queen bed in each are comfortable. 2 toilets were a plus in this cottage. Shower was very good. Outdoor table and area can only be used on a dry day. To access the beach, there is a short cut and it only takes 5 minutes. There are some very nice beach trails and bush walks to do and eatery wise, some cafes/restaurant/pub in Killcare. Voila!

Lovely cottage in great location
Our stay was pleasant , we are 3 middle aged women and the house was spacious but the blinds in the 3 bedrooms didn’t work so we couldn’t open windows . The loungeroom curtains were very difficult to open and close too . The fan in the loungeroom had a broken remote control and there was a thick layer of dust on the tv console and sideboard . An enjoyable stay but repairs urgently needed , my bed was super comfy , I’m trying to buy the same mattress . As a rental property owner myself , I think some coffee pods, tea bags, salt , and basic supplies would be expected
we spent the weekend at the Little Tara. The location is wonderful, 10 mins walking to Putty Beach (dog friendly beach), 10 mins walking to Bouddi National Park. The house is surrounded by natural bush, and also can hear the ocean sound at night, which is relaxing. The kitchen and lounge is nice. Has enough tools for cooking. Owner also provided many board games, sports equipment which are great for the kids.
There are some details we think definitely can be improved.
1. it's advertised as Dog friendly house, however it doesn't have any fenced-up area. We have to lock our dog indoor or leashed him outside. We would expect a fenced area which is truly dog friendly.
2. there is a coffee machine, but no coffee pods. No tea bags too. Those little things doesn't cost a lot but can change the customer experiences
3. there are no basic toiletries items, even no hand wash liquid and tissue. Again, basic toiletries stuff, shampoo, body wash, body lotion can be refilled and doesn't cost a lot but definitely can give convenience to customers
4. be good to have some diffuser in the room. one bedroom smells a bit weird. and the house smell a bit old, maybe due to the wet weather.
5. linen are not included as advertised, but they have quilt cover and pillow case. so don't know what's the differences why not providing bed sheets. they are almost the same things.
the mattresses are definitely for soft mattress lover.
Overall, it's not bad, just need little improvement.
