Why stay at a hotel or condo development where you’ll share a crowded pool? At High Blue Heaven, you’ll enjoy the best location on St. Thomas on the breezy, green North Side close to beautiful beaches, delightful restaurants and the ferry to St. John (Virgin Islands National Park)… but quiet, private and high above the ocean so you can enjoy the view without the sand flies. And you will enjoy your own very private pool!

As you enter High Blue Heaven, your eyes will be drawn out over the edge of the pool on the deck to Magen’s Bay, Hans Lollik Island and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. The main floor includes one of two master bedroom suites with full bathroom, the Great Room with living room area (queen sleeper sofa), dining area, kitchen, laundry room and a powder room. Up the mahogany staircase, a second master bedroom features a four-poster bed, full bathroom, walk-in closet and a second deck.

Our house is decorated in a casually comfortable Caribbean style with tile floors throughout and bright colors flooded with light: it’s a place where you can feel at home and relax into island living. From the spacious deck, enjoy a meal…or a swim in the pool while watching the lights flicker on Jost Van Dyke. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to craft a romantic dinner. Or sample half a dozen terrific restaurants within minutes of the house.

You’ll enjoy the prevailing trade winds that keep High Blue Heaven cool and comfortable. Our house is West Indian style, meaning that every room has a ceiling fan. Each bedroom also offers its own self-controlled air conditioning system, as well as television, and outdoor deck or balcony with gorgeous ocean views. Wi-Fi is free throughout the house.

Ideally and centrally situated on the breezy north side of the island, High Blue Heaven is seven minutes from swimming and water sports at Magens Bay, one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world (National Geographic).

Coral World Marine Park and Charlotte Amalie with duty-free shopping are just ten minutes from us, as are Red Hook (catch the ferry to St. John) and East End restaurants.

We want to make your visit an unforgettable experience. We have loved and enjoyed the U.S. Virgin Islands for many years and have numerous recommendations to share, from the best places to swim and snorkel to the restaurants that the guidebooks don’t tell you about. We chose our house because of its breeze-friendly design, fabulous view and Caribbean charm, and we want to share that with you.

Because we know that you’ve come to relax, our property manager, Katie, will meet you at the airport, escort you to the car rental service and help you get your rental car. Then, she will ensure that you arrive at our house and are fully briefed on everything you need to know.

-High-quality bedding and bathroom towels, bathroom amenities

Our home features living all on one level if you prefer (second bedroom upstairs). If you don't like climbing stairs, this is the place for you.

DEAR GUESTS: PLEASE BE AWARE -- WE NOT ONLY PROHIBIT SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE - WE ALSO PROHIBIT IT ON THE DECKS OUTSIDE THAT FACE THE VIEW. SMOKING IS PERMITTED ONLY ON A CORNER OF OUR DRIVEWAY, WITH NO VIEW. PLEASE CONSIDER RENTING ELSEWHERE IF YOU OR MEMBERS OF YOUR GROUP SMOKE.
