Unwind and relax at this spacious condo located on beautiful Cowpet Bay on the East End of St. Thomas. This peaceful and relaxing condominium has unobstructed views of the ocean and outlying Islands.
It sleeps up to 4 people very comfortably, 2 king beds, 2 full bathrooms, gourmet kitchen with new high end appliances, BBQ, flat screen TV in the living room, telephone, FREE internet access and more. Stroll a few minutes from your front door to enjoy the stunning white sand semi private Cowpet Bay beach.

Property Amenities: access to beach and beach chairs as well as pool with grotto, waterfall, hot tub and pool bar. The beach shack rents kayaks, sailboards, sailboats, paddle boats and snorkeling gear. Two restaurants on the property, Caribbean Fish Market and Sangria’s.

Within a five minute drive to Red Hook where you have numerous additional places to dine and shop as well as the ferry to nearby Islands.
Cowpet Bay West is one of the safest and nicest gated community on St. Thomas.

Great place!

Great place! This was our second time staying here and we look forward to going back. It is very well stocked and just a short walk to the beach. Property manager, Brittany, is prompt in getting back to us and very helpful.

All you need is there

We found this a great place to stay with our family. With the beach, pool and 2 restaurants on site as well as all the items provided for use by the owner. This condo was a great choice. I was a little surprised at how built up Cowpet bay was with condos/hotels but still enjoyed.

Work Trip

The condo was in a great location right on the beach. It has two restaurants and a bar. My group of four was there for work and with the big table outside on the patio, we had plenty of room for our computers. The condo had a lot of cats. If you have allergies or have children allergic to cats, I would not recommend staying here as 3-4 cats were hanging out of the doorstep.

Location on st Thomas is awesome for st john commute and the red hook connection

Rent a vehicle on day one. Getting taxis were not worth the effort. Stay left....big red barge it to st john. You'll enjoy it. The veiw from the condo is mesmerizing daily. Enjoy....

Great Location

Great location, next to Red Hook, place has what you need, great value for the price, no regrets, online states can do two beds or king in one room but is only king, says can go to gym at hotel next door but gym was destroyed in 2017, shows 11am checkout, even has hard plastic permanent sign in place but checkout is 10am. AC works good in garden view room, not in ocean view, that room is upper 70’s. But overall very positive, get a lot for the price. Had a great vacation.

30 year anniversary

Very large, comfortable 2 bed/2 bath condo, beautiful view and large balcony. AC worked great and fans in all rooms. Kitchen very well stocked, even had a crock pot- wish I knew. 12 cup coffee pot , bring some basket filters. Lots of towels, 4 beach chairs which were nice to have. Bring snorkel mask. I would definitely stay here again, but if mobility issues some stairs to get from car and into condo and lots of stairs to get to beach and pool.Good exercise though!! Food market close by , cost u less Store cheapest but like a smaller version of Costco. Great location , felt safe, driving is crazy!! Only recommendation I have is some new pillows. Washing machine was nice to have. Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo, it gave many memories and allowed us to bring our son to see where his dad worked as a nurse 30 years ago! It was nice to return after 20’years.

Fantastic view with everything you need!

This place was so comfortable for the 3 of us. Plenty of room for 2 adults and our almost 21 year old daughter. The deck is amazing to hang out on in the mornings with coffee and beautiful at night as well. I can't begin to say how much we enjoyed the view. It was great! We felt very much at home here. We traveled a lot every day around the island and over to St. John and this was a perfect base for us. We cooked in the unit at least once daily. It has everything you need...even a "junk" drawer! It had all the stuff you might not even realize is nice to have. Rulers, tape, scissors, sewing kit, all the stuff you might need. There were games, books and cards too. The pool was great to relax in and the beach out front was nice as well. Spent several hours at both. If you want to be comfortable with a lot of amenities in the unit with a spectacular view close to a ton of things to do with a beach out front....come here. The property always felt very secure as well with the gates and guards.

Wonderful location but wouldn’t stay here again

My family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights. We have good and bad things to say. The location was excellent. The beach on property was beautiful and even had good snorkeling. Wonderful view from balcony although it is quite a hike down steep stairs to get to the beach/pool. The property is mostly as it looks in photos. The beach photos don’t do it justice. The condo was clean, had lots of beach towels, beach equipment and coolers which was very nice. I had a few issues that would cause us not to stay in this condo again. First, the doors inside are all shutter type which makes it extremely hard to be quite anywhere you are inside. We would wake up before the kids and my husband before me. I woke up hearing him make coffee, go out the loud front door, tv on, shower, literally anything. Also the upstairs neighbor would wake us almost every morning around 6-6:30 with loud walking, scooting furniture or something heavy, one morning a vacuum or drill type noise. The bed in the front room (bedroom 2) was very uncomfortable. And the room had sheer curtains. It was listed as garden view but it’s really just some plants at the base of the walkway. The sheer curtains made it to where our kids were scared to sleep in that room and the morning light also came in quite early as well as moonlight at night. Also the kitchen pans could use an upgrade. Smaller size skillets and I could barely cut an onion with the knives. Overall we had a great trip and didn’t let some of the issues we had with the condo affect our trip b/c the location and beautiful island were so wonderful.

Captivated at Cowbet Bay West

What a wonderful stay my family and I enjoyed. The property was perfect! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook in and there were plenty of linens for the condo and the beach. The balcony was perfect for the amazing sunrises. Would definitely stay there again.

Had a great time here. The condo was spacious and well maintained. It was a short walk to the beach and had a great pool and hot tub. There are two restaurants in walking distance. We would stay here again.

It’s all so beautiful

My husband and I had a great experience. From this location it didn’t take us long to catch the Ferry to St John, get a taste of the Caribbean and relax! This place had everything we needed and then some. Awesome!

Great location and amenities

Beautiful beach view, condo was spacious. We loved the pool, the beach, the bar and the 2 restaurants all within a short walk. Great location close to Redhook and Sapphire beach. The only thing that is not a 5 star is the amount of stairs to get down to the pool/beach area. I think someone counted like 72 stairs.

Beautiful beach with good snorkling and easy access to beach chairs. Very nice condo could have used some deeper cleaning. Water went out briefly. Close drive to Red Hook for groceries.

Perfect location for rest and relax

The unit is in a great neighborhood with access (via stairs) to a nice quiet beach and pool. The hot tub (at the adjacent resort) was barely lukewarm, but we really never used it. There is no fitness center. The unit was clean and well stocked with beach gear to use. There is an icemaker in the fridge and ample kitchen utensils of all kinds. Sunrises are gorgeous! The proximity to Red Hook and East End restaurants (Hello Love Shack!) can't be beat!

Close to semiprivate beach condo

A spacious and well equipped 2BR 2 BATH condo with sea view was ideal to accommodate our relaxing vacation. The beach is 3 min walking some stairs, it is quiet and not crowded. We snorkeled and swam in the sea. We did not rent a car, but taxis were available at the nearby Elysian property. There are good restaurants on the beach and the “Sangria “ has excellent sandwiches and pizza and the prices were affordable. We were lucky with the weather. The only thing was sand flies which appeared after dusk, but this is the same for the entire island, you cannot avoid them. Overall we had an excellent staying and we are grateful.
