Location Location Location II - Simply The Best On The Beach!

Enjoy the ultimate in luxury and relaxation in our upper unit Beachfront Cowpet Bay West Condo with all the amenities including a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms each with en suite full bathrooms, central air, washer & dryer, cable tv, wireless internet, phone, ring doorbell, small safe for your valuables, gas grill, beach towels, cooler, beach toys and more. All within a gated community. Our condo comfortably sleeps maximum FIVE. The beachside bedroom features Tommy Bahama furnishings with a king bed, ceiling fan, tv and dvd player with en suite full bathroom with double sinks. The garden side bedroom has a king bed and a twin in alcove, ceiling fan, tv and dvd player with spacious en suite full bathroom with shower/tub combo. Our custom kitchen features top of the line appliances, granite countertops and breakfast bar with seating for three. Our dining area has seating for four. The living area has a brand new couch, two Tommy Bahama chairs, ceiling fan, tv and dvd player.

Unwind on the balcony off the living room or beachside bedroom, listen to the ocean while gazing at Cowpet Bay and views of islands further out in the Caribbean Sea. Head out the front door and your toes are in the warm sand and water within seconds, swim, snorkel or just relax on the beach under a palm or grape tree reading a book, tanning or taking a nap on a lounge chair. Book a day sail, rent a kayak or paddle board from the hut on the beach. Picturesque pool and hot tub right behind the beach to our condos left with a pool bar. Two great restaurants, Caribbean Fish Market (Dinner and Sunday Brunch) and Sangrias (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). We're next to the Ritz with additional restaurants, shops and excursions.

Red Hook is a 5 minute ride, enjoy shopping, dining at 12+ restaurants and bars. Take a ferry to St. John U.S.V.I., or if you have your passport Jost Van Dyke or Tortolla B.V.I. for more beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping.

Our condo in St Thomas's East End on Cowpet Bay is truly in Paradise with endless opportunities for the greatest vacation of a lifetime. 5 day minimum stay and accommodates up to 5 people max.

We booked this condo for 5 nights and ended up extending our vacation because this property was so lovely! The check in process was so easy, we had everything we needed and Tara the property manager was so very responsive and accommodating. The pool on the grounds was very clean and nice and they beach was clean,inviting and never crowded! We travel to St. Thomas yearly and will for sure be coming back to this location in the future!

A week in Paradise

We viewed a few places to stay for the week and so happy we went with Cowpet Bay. As soon as we walked in the door you could see the beautiful views of the ocean. The rooms were large and accommodating. We loved both the Caribbean Fish Market for dinner and Sunday brunch and Sangrias on the beach for lunch and drinks. We made use of the beach chairs and coolers when we explored other beaches and also the use of others sunscreen from the basket. We also left ours for use for the next guests. It was so relaxing and quiet which is just what we wanted. We will definitely look to stay there in the future!

Beautiful and peaceful vacation

The condo was perfect and everything was as advertised, the views were amazing and the snorkeling on the beach was great. We saw sea turtles, stingrays and beautiful fish. Can’t wait to come back annually

Island Fun

The property was exactly as advertised. Absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the view, beach, pool and the restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of beach chairs available on the beach. We rented a car to explore the island so it was nice to have a parking spot right in front of the condo. A little trouble with the water that flushed the toilet but not the fault of the condo as it was an issue with the whole area. Definitely recommend this property, communication with the property manager was extremely excellent!

Perfect view and location

The view was absolutely perfect. I love that we were right on the beach. It was absolutely perfect, since we have 2 small children. It was also a really calm beach, and great for swimming. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay

Great condo, exactly as advertised. Layout was perfect for my family of 5. Comfortable and plenty of thoughtful extras like snorkel gear, beach chairs and coolers along with ample towels/linens and well stocked kitchen. Also, Cowpet bay/beach surpassed our expectations…beautiful, semi-private, and solid snorkeling (saw turtles, rays, starfish, and many types of fish). Great location…5 min drive to Sevret Harbor or ferry to STJ. Bob and Pat were great communicators. Without hesitation I would stay again and recommend this unit to friends/family.

Very nice gated community. Condo was in great condition and generously stocked with all of the small things you tend to forget when traveling. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a week with our 2 elementary school aged kids. The condo was perfect and well stocked with a great view. The beach was fine, but we had a rental car and visited several other close by beaches. Our kids loved the pool. The onsite dining options were convenient in a pinch. We also cooked at the condo for many of our meals. Smart tvs in each room and comfortable beds. Condo location was perfect

Wonderful Vacation!!

I gave this review 5 stars because they literally had EVERYTHING that one could need! Washer and dryer were a great convenience and they even provided laundry detergent!! I would definitely stay again!! Very beautiful place!! I highly recommend a stay here!

Description isn’t accurate stating Secret Harbor Beach is a one minute walk when it is a short drive. Other than that the condo was clean, well maintained, close to Cowpet Bay beach.

Beautiful views

We had a great time in St Thomas. This location was great. The view off the deck out to Cowpet Bay was beautiful. The beach, pool and 2 restaurants we within walking distance so very convenient. The condo came with everything we needed and more, which we greatly appreciated. The Proximity to Red Hook was great for shopping, eating out and going on excursions. The only negative is that the condo itself could use some repairs.

Over The Top

From the minute you walk into this condo in pristine condition until the day you dread having to leave, everything you could possibly need and want is at your fingertips. The owner and manager are so quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Not to mention how gorgeous this island is and how perfect the beach is, literally just a few steps away. We LOVED our week here and highly recommend this condo.

Words cannot describe this amazing hideaway on the beach!!

Excellent experience all around, Bob was great throughout the whole experience from preparing our visit to helping us plan our daily endeavors. We had plenty of room for two couples and never lost the wow factor waking up every morning for coffee on the balcony looking over the secluded beach. This place was so well appointed, all we needed was food and clothes. This super clean condo with was very modern classic with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, full size washer and dryer, and all the supplies you could need. The ninja blender and cooler came in handy making our frozen beverages for the beach. A grill on the front porch, excellent pool and hot tub just steps from the condo, two great restaurants on the property, and a nice size quiet sandy beach give you very few reasons to ever leave the property, though a Jeep is recommend for island commuting. Red Hook is 5 minutes away with tons of shopping, restaurants, and night life. Check out Latitude 18 right down the street for some great local entertainment on the waterfront. Can't wait to come back !!

Dumpster view

We thought the place was very nice except for the large dumpster outside, between our unit and the ocean. Impossible to take a picture without it being in it. Pat was very nice and professional, Bob was not. He told us on Friday that the unit was clean since no one was in there the week before us and we could get in early. We got there on Saturday at 3:30 and the cleaning service was just getting started. They also left us with sheets and towels in the washer and dryer. He was very condescending when we called about the TV. Pat felt bad and gave us a certificate for dinner.

Nice condo, brown beach water

Solid accommodations for a small family and was issue free except other than one night of sleep interrupted to weird construction noise at 4am. Well stocked kitchen. The thing that really ruined it for us was that the beach was pretty gross with lots of brown stuff in the tide getting churned into a fine debris that made the water dark and cloudy to the point we only got in it once and never again. Ended up driving to secret for what we thought would be on property beach time, so much that we would have just stayed there had we been told about the water conditions at this cowpet. Visited almost all of the beaches on the island and this was the only one that had this issue. This was not the “normal” seaweed or sargassum that can accumulate which I can handle, this made all the water 0-50ft out brown. I thought this was worth mentioning as the images of the beach in the listing look so nice and were what I expected. Also the mattresses were bouncy and pillows super puffy which is not my thing but I should have brought my own pillow I guess. Water pressure was so low only one shower at a time even though there are 2 bathrooms.

Absolutley wonderful!!!

We had a wonderful stay in this condo! The condo is clean, fresh, and absolutely beautiful! It is well stocked with plenty of dishes, towels, paper products, laundry detergent, soap, etc. My favorite feature of the condo was the balcony. I absolutely loved starting every day sitting out there. The condo's location on Cowpet Bay is also lovely. The beach was always peaceful with plenty of chairs. When we weren't relaxing in one of the chairs, we enjoyed snorkeling right from the beach (along the rocks to the left of the beach) and the pool which has plenty of afternoon shade if you need a break from the sun. Sangria's, the beach bar/restaurant, was a great amenity. We visited there a couple of times and ordered several different salads, sandwiches, dinner specials, and breakfasts. All of the food was good and well-prepared. Lastly, we really enjoyed the location of the condo. We liked being close to Red Hook. We had great meals at XO Bistro and Pesce. We also enjoyed breakfast with a view at Cup-n-Kettle (near Secret Harbor Beach). Being so close to Red Hook, we took the ferry to St. John twice. We also visited Lindquist Beach (5 minute drive) and had some great pulled pork at Off the Grid (Sapphire Beach). While we thoroughly enjoyed all of our adventures, every time we came back to the condo we loved it even more. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The unit was nicely furnished and contained all the amenities that you would expect in a condo and even more for your home away from home. The property owners Pat & Bob were great and were quick to respond via text to answer questions. For example, there was an issue with one of the showers, but Pat & Bob apologized and moved quickly to get a repair man to the unit the following morning to fix the issue. I think it would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the TV's, as the ones in the bedroom took us a while to figure out as there were 2 remotes that needed to be used to get the TV's to turn on. In addition, I would recommend thinking about getting the bed in the master fixed, as it was extremely squeaky each and every time you moved. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit as well. My only suggestion would be to run a cleaner though the washer, as some of our clothes came out with black mold looking spots that we have been unable to get out upon return. Having stayed at Cowpet Bay West prior, we love the location and yours was closer to the pool and restaurants by a few units. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning and will be looking to stay in this unit again. Thanks again Pat & Bob.

We first came to St. Thomas in 1973 for our Honeymoon, then again in 1983 for our 10th anniversary, didn't make our 20th, but returned in 1995 and have been back at least once a year since.
Our love for St. Thomas is shared by all my family and friends we have introduced to this Paradise. Two of my daughters and my brother were married on St. Thomas, it is truly a special part of our lives. We are truly blessed to realize our dream of ownership and hope to share our dream with You.
