Craig & Cindy Truman Annex Foundry Townhouse is a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse in the best location in all of Key West....Truman Annex. We offer 2 Foundry Townhouses practically adjacent to each other. Truman Annex is a six block gated community right at the entrance to Ft. Zachary Beach, 2 blocks from Duval Street, and right next to the nightly Sunset Festival at Mallory Square. While a parking spot is provided...a car is not needed as you can walk to everything! The townhouse features a king bed, 2 twin beds (or request a conversion to a king bed) and a sleeper sofa. First floor features an open floor plan with a large living room and kitchen along with a 1/2 bath and outside deck. The second floor features bedroom #1 with an En Suite full bathroom and private balcony. The third floor features bedroom #2 with an En Suite full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with upgraded appliances and everything you need to cook, including such essentials as a blender for those fun drinks, coffee maker for the next morning, and a microwave for the late night popcorn! Each bedroom has a flat panel TV and there is a large 55" Smart TV in the living room. Complete stereo system with CD player full of music and/or an Amazon Echo with Bluetooth so you can play music from your phone or just tell "Alexa" to play your favorite song. Blu Ray DVD player with movies and much more! Ceiling fans in every room plus central air. Internet service provided at no additional cost. All linens and towels (including beach towels) are included. Each Townhouse sleeps up to six when using the queen sleeper sofa.

Except for festivals such as Fantasy Fest, Meeting of the Minds, and Powerboat Races, we generally require Saturday-Saturday rentals so if your dates are not Saturday-Saturday please email us with your dates prior to booking so that we can check our calendar to see if an exception is possible.

Best Key West Accommodations

We recently spent a week in this lovely and very comfortable condominium unit in the Truman Annex neighborhood, and we highly recommend it. The unit is a 3-level walkup, located in the former Foundry building directly off of Front Street. Due to the manner that foundry buildings were built in the last century to contain fires, when converted to living units they have the benefit of being virtually soundproof. To anyone who has ever stayed in any of the excellent hotels, B&Bs, or guesthouses in Old Town, you'll understand why having a soundproof residence slightly away from the "action" can be a real blessing. The home itself is extremely relaxing, with a well-appointed kitchen/dining area, comfortable chairs and sofa, and wonderful mattresses. We have traveled extensively and have rented luxury homes for large and small family gatherings in a wide variety of locations, including beachfront homes costing many times more, but this home ranks very well with all of the others. Of special mention is the superior management of Craig & Cindy's Key West Rentals which manage a small number of homes in the area. Though everything was well maintained, fully operable, and nicely clean, they provide their guests with the personal cell numbers of their maintenance manager, their housekeeping manager, and themselves. We have absolutely nothing to say of the slightest negativity about either the home or the management, and are already planning our next visit with them.

Perfect location

This location was absolutely perfect for enjoying old town; walking distance to everything you'd need we never ordered an uber except for to and from the airport. I wish the curtains were a little darker so the sunlight wouldnt wake us up in the morning but overall a WONDERFUL place.

Great location, very clean, things to consider

House was very clean. Cindy was very responsive to emails. The house was very clean and had good amenities and good strong air conditioning. To consider based on preferences- The curtains in the bedroom are a kind of wicker panel that lets in a lot of light. For us, that meant being wide awake at sunset daily as the room fills with light. Also, the beds are very soft, not firm.

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a perfect location from everything. There was plenty of space on the patio for all of our bikes (5 of them). It was very quiet and peaceful. The pool is close to the condo and we never had a problem finding somewhere to sit. The condo is decorated nicely and the beds were very comfortable. Loved having a washer and dryer. I have learned over the years that this is a must. A lot of stairs to go up and down. I have to say that was a good thing at times though, with all of the wonderful food and drinks we had. :) The owners were great and responsive. Thank you for sharing your place!!

Highly recommend!

My husband, our friends and myself really enjoyed our stay here! It’s very spacious and we loved having a parking spot right outside our building. It also has a washer and dryer which came in handy our last couple days. Everything was near by, you really can’t beat this location. The host was also very communicative, which I appreciate! The only downfall we had was a lack of cleaning supplies. We had to buy trash bags, dish soap and paper towels a couple days in to the stay as there were very little left. A cleaner for the counter tops would have also been useful as we did a lot of cooking. We didn’t find the beach towels until the end when we did laundry because they were in the dryer. Very small inconveniences, but overall it was a fantastic stay and we will certainly be back!
