Now more than ever it is important it is important to choose a home that is thoroughly cleaned and well maintained. We inspect our homes multiple times each month and follow the AHLA Stay Safe Guidelines to ensure your stay is safe and comfortable. You will also find an initial supply of cleaning and paper products along with handsoap and toiletries. The home has a private entrance and contactless Check-In/Out.

Located in the gated community of Truman Annex: a popular and beautifully landscaped community in Old Town Key West. Enjoy the peaceful tropical landscape and pool while only 2 blocks from the excitement of Duval St. We are just outside the entrance to Ft Zachary Taylor State Park and Beach and so close to many of Key West’s popular attractions. After a full day of taking in many of the island's wonderful experiences, come back to all the comforts of home. This open airy home offers a fully furnished kitchen, eating area, living room and 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Two sets of French doors open to a large deck and beautiful private backyard where you can enjoy a meal or relax and sip umbrella drinks on the chaise lounges in your own private tropical paradise. Gated parking lot with one reserved space.

Very clean and well stocked. Within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants and a convenient bus stop nearby for those attractions further away. Bicycles to use to get to anywhere on island. Beach chairs and towels provided. Nice pool available.We all enjoyed our stay.

Winter Break

We really enjoyed everything about the townhouse especially the courtyard and the location. Having individual bathrooms for each bedroom was a plus, and the house was well equipped. Highly recommend.

Home is very clean and as pictured. Owner very helpful and responsive. Bikes were a great asset. Location is ideal with the exception of the noise from the post office and gate opening and closing during the night. We are light sleepers so it was disturbing. Overall, wonderful property, parking and location.

Perfect 2 week stay

Very much enjoyed our two week COVID-escape stay at the property. The location couldn't be more perfect, with great access to town, Fort Zachary Taylor and Mallory Square. Was great to just hop on your bike and be anywhere you want to be in 5 minutes! Property was clean. Owners were very responsive, even when we had a small problem with the garbage disposal. Couldn't have been happier with the stay. Only complaint was that the next door post office was a bit noisy, but not too bad. Miss being awoken by the crowing roosters!

Awesome Get-away

We were first timers to Key West and absolutely loved the location! We were smack dab in the middle of everything we wanted to do. We had rented a car but discovered we didn’t need it at all. We biked everywhere we went, day and night. Next time we will come a bit more prepared. Fewer clothes, no car, and bring umbrellas and seasonings if you plan on eating in. The only thing the kitchen has is salt and pepper. Others than that, we’ll be back!

Bikes and beach chairs were awesome, noise was an issue.

I chose this property specifically because it was more affordable than others (fewer fees) and came with two bikes. I was a bit skeptical about the bikes but we were pleasantly surprised. They were newer and VERY nice! I see why other reviews mentioned noise. The most disrupting was the clang of the gate as folks went thru after 6pm. Once we got used to that being a normal sound, it was easier. Also, the car noise from the street at night in the back bedroom (loud bass booming) was common. The post office noise during my morning coffee on the deck was bad. They wheel huge plastic bins loudly across the parking lot! Speaking of the upstairs back deck, I do feel the need to point out the photos show a covered porch but that green canvas roof is gone! It rains here and NOT having an outside covered area (like the photos showed) was VERY disappointing. They need to pull that photo. This unit has a half bath downstairs, a huge plus! Trudging up and down the stairs is not fun. Also great...the air conditioning was the absolute BEST we've ever had in Truman Annex (June is HOT!). The ceiling fan over the bed was perfect at night and both bedrooms had TV's (unusual). The program selections were plentiful. The unit has THE largest outside patio (brick but uncovered). You could easily have a large group dine here. Last plus: fabulous beach chairs (6-8, our last condo had zero), the kind that fold back as loungers with backpack straps making them easy to carry. The negatives...my son and fiance (age 26) said: 1) its too far from the pool (as far as you can get); 2) the gate noise at night is annoying; 3) the shower door in the front bedroom made it impossible to get out of the shower with someone standing at the sink (annoying). My summary: The location is VERY close to everything downtown that you want to walk to. This unit was very clean but did feel small (tight for large folks...MAX 4 adults). For you cooks, this kitchen has ZERO condiments, bring your own! Last Note: keep in mind this unit has no covered parking (we needed that because we have kayaks on our roof). If you don't need covered outside spaces or covered parking, can overcome the noise and distance to the pool, and like bikes, this is a decent value in Truman Annex.

Quiet paradise near the action

We had a great week at Kokomo Korner. House was exactly as described. Had everything we could need. Would definitely stay there again!! Perfect location. The backyard was bigger than expected and lovely.

Enjoy a memorable quiet vacation while moments away from action!

Owner was helpful when we didn't have a parking pass. Could invest in some new beach towels (current were tattered) and bath towels (current were very rough). Also outside furniture could be cleaned up as some of the cushions had ants all over them. Lastly, would invest in some new pans/cooking sheets and silverware. There were only four forks - three small and one regular so we constantly had to clean them. THe little extras (some spices and possibly a couple of coffee kcups) could go a long way. Otherwise -a great place to rent and worked out well for our family of four!

The pool was serene and well kept. The condo itself was nice. Comfortable furniture, clean, with bedrooms large enough to move around in. The bathrooms attached to each bedroom were nice and the laundry upstairs made it very convenient. There is a half bath downstairs so you don't have to constantly run up and down steps. The only drawbacks were, the back desk may want for an umbrella and made a lounge chair? The only negatives we ran into was the construction outside the condo which is next to the gate to the complex that stayed paddle locked. The construction made it impossible to sleep in and the gate inconvenienced the access the main street outside. However, I know these things are temporary and this too shall pass. We had a great time and Tracy is ALWAYS accommodating and so easy to work with.

Great Location

Hospitality app with all the information needed for check in and check out very convenient. Within walking distance to everything. 2.5 bathrooms a plus. All amenities of home. Secure gated community at night. Follow signs to pool, it's a little hike. Bicycles available. Significant water damage/stained ceilings was our only outlier. Everything else was great! Would stay here again.
