For the rest of your holiday explore the island's 4WD tracks discovering stunning locations including North Beach's Champagne Pools & Honeymoon Bay, snorkel The Wrecks, toboggan The Desert and the Big Sandhills, go fishing at the Timbers, have a seafood platter at The Gutter Bar, watch the sunset on the beach at Days Gutter...or simply grab a book and watch the world go by from your beach chair in this unspoilt paradise!

House was great for what we needed for our stay on Moreton island. Great location allowed us to explore the island. Outdoor space and tyre swing a real bonus for the kids!

We stayed as 2 families with young kids (4-5years) and we all had the best time. Perfect size for us. Good outdoor area and KOORINGAL was a great location. Missed the BBQ for cooking but we were told about this before our trip and was understandably hard to fix because of the cyclone slowing down the process. Definitely would recommend for a group of our size (4 adults and 3 kids).
Found the property quite comfortable for adults however probably not The best house for children. The bathroom isn’t located inside the main part of the house which is hard with kids.
Overall enjoyed our stay

Hi Ashleigh,
I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! I am sorry you found the bathroom an inconvenience with your children. The house is designed island style and is divided by a breezway which allows the house to stay cool in summer.
We hope to host you again sometime in the future!
Kind Regards,
Natasha Gargan

Get rid of BBQ
All good. The BBQ is in a very dangerous state. There is a hol;e in the gas burner line that kept catching on fire. Had to turn it off and cook in open fire.

Feedback
Hi there,
Really beautiful area. thanks for letting us stay.
Just so you know, the door lock is not there? The door latch itself is fine, but the metal bracket it hooks into is missing. We closed the door and put the key back into the secure lock, but the door itself isnt locked? Please check.
thanks
Dan

Hi Dan,
I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay!
Thanks for letting me know about the sliding door. We lock it internally using the deadbolt and then exit through the front door.
I would appreciate any feedback you have to ensure your next stay is 5 stars!
Many thanks,
Kind Regards,
Natasha Gargan
Well equipped traditional beach cottage close to great fishing beaches on both sides of the island
We had an amazing time here - caught some wonderful Taylor and Flathead and enjoyed a few cold drinks and light food at the Gutter Bar - the beach cottage is very well equipped and we made good use of the kitchen facilities and the BBQ - being solar driven, sometimes there is not enough hot water for everyone, so first in best dressed - this did not spoil our trip at all. Would definitely recommend this place for a big family as value for money not suited to smaller groups. Great location and Natasha was on the ball with communications in relation to check in and how to get to the property. When taking your own linen, just need fitted sheets and a light doonah cover as doonahs are provided. Take lots of insect repellant for the sand flies on the beach. Had an excellent time.

Moreton Island is our happy place! We were first introduced to camping on Moreton by family friends in 2009 and feel blessed to have holidayed here for the past 16 years.
In 2022 we were fortunate to purchase our own piece of this island paradise and we are now grateful to be able to share our special place with you! We hope you love it as much as we do!
