Only minutes from the train station, restaurants and convenience stores, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a little cramped with 6 adults but we managed. The outdoor garden was very nice, and the property had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I would recommend the property.

The home was beautiful! The garden was amazing and the view from the bedroom was so peaceful and comforting. The location was perfect with a 15 minute walk to Fushimi Inari. Even closer to the train station which was one stop from the shinkansen. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect stay for 5 adults. It felt very traditional with modern amenities. Check in was smooth. Owners answered my questions promptly. The train station was close by (6 min walk) and only 1 stop away from Kyoto station. Cute local shops and convenient stores close by. Very convenient! The place was really awesome and I would recommend this to other travelers.

Perfect quiet home base

An authentic taste of Japan for those traveling from an afar. Plenty of space in this two level home. Situated just a short walk from a train station and bus routes to all the main Kyoto attractions. Also the surprise of one of the nicest and quietest temples right next door. Perfect home and location. Would stay again.

Gorgeous property

The location was handy for local temples/shrines. The keypad was difficult to figure out for entry. One of the towels had a set of fake eyelashes stuck to it.

We do apologize about the towels as we only provide fresh towels and sheets delivered by our linen provider. We don't know how a set of fake eyelashes could have been stuck to the towel that you had during your stay. Again we would do our best to check.
