Great location - very quiet and relaxed. We had everything we needed and was like going away to your own holiday shack with plenty of extras to use and enjoy.
Host was great, quiet location, the peace and quiet we all needed. Everything at hand you could ask for, will definitely book again sometime in the future when back that way.
A very well maintained beach house. Good location for visiting all the beautiful spots on the coastline between Baird Bay and Streaky Bay. The Granites and the Smooth Pool are very good snorkeling spots.Kayaks were a hit with children. The shallows during low tide are full of life, including crabs, small jellyfish and even baby cuttlefish.
Thoughful and comprehensive accomodation features, special, relaxing location: scenic, protected, waters and good fishing. Helpful host. No shopping within the immediate locality, but given that you bring what you need I can recommend with absolutely no reservations. We have returned to this facility.
Clean, tidy and spacious house with everything you need for a holiday. So quiet and relaxing little place, great for the kids to play and enjoy nature (get them off electronic devices) showing them the seals and teaching them to fish, catching some big KGW will be memorable moments for the kids and adults. Just love the place !!!!!
Perfect property and location for our 4 day fishing getaway. The man cave was ideal for storing all of our gear securely overnight and heaps of freezer space made things easy.
Plenty of space inside the house with everything we needed and the bedrooms were ideal.
The perfect place for a fishing holiday!
It is a terrifically well equipped comfortable and clean holiday shack. Ideal for a family get away or group of friends.
Everything went smoothly and as it should, with a minimum of fuss.
We are looking forward to going back with more time to make use of the great facilities.

Thank you Don. We hope you do come back. You’re more than welcome anytime
A memorable little getaway with family and friends celebrating New Year's Eve on the beach with the locals. All ages catered for whether you're looking to unwind with a book, play table tennis, cook up a storm or head out in the kayaks with the crabs beneath your feet. Close enough to Streaky Bay for supplies but far away to give you that remote getaway experience.
The property is very clean and tidy. The hosts went above and beyond as we found ourselves in an awkward situation.
Everything you need is provided.Great property for the remote area it is in.Highly recommend this property .

Hi Craig. Could you please let us know what we did wrong to receive a 4/5 star rating? I hope we did everything correctly
This was just what the doctor ordered, rest, relaxation and nature giving us her best. So much to see and do in this beautiful part of South Australia. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Fishing was a pleasure. The sunsets Devine creating a romantic atmosphere with many vantage points to sip our wine. When the sun set there was a fantastic BBQ area and fire pit. Our dog loved it and even made a holiday friend. We hope to go back again ❤️

Thank you Karen and Shaun. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Pippa was a delight. We would love to see you back.
We were looking for somewhere that we could leave our 2 border collies safely while we went on the Eco Tour. The man cave was perfect and we didn’t have to worry about them at all. Everything we could have asked for was supplied and although we didn’t need to contact the owner, we knew we could if needed.

We were told the property was suitable for a disabled person in a wheelchair.luckilybwe took our own ramp or else he wouldn't have been able to get into the house. The toilet was difficult and he couldn't use the shower. The tv in the lounge didn't work and there is no aircon. For the money ,poor

Hi Greg, thank you for your review. I corresponded with Gary who is wheel chair bound and told him about the stairs. He said he was happy with that as he usually carries ramps for that purpose. We also spoke about the toilet door as it is a door that swings in. The television in the lounge does work as I checked it after you left. I’m sincerely sorry the house didn’t meet your needs. As for air conditioning, we are in the process of getting that rectified though I thought that with mid 20 degree days it would not be an issue. Once again I apologise
I had the clear impression of hosts that care and are pleasant to deal with. You can see it in the house decorations, excellent bedding and pillows, the thoughtful amusement facilities, (like kayaks table tennis, indoor cricket, darts etc). It is also apparent in things like helpful and up to date instructions, and bait freezers, bar fridge etc. in addition to more usual refrigeration. The guest comment book was full of positive remarks.
great location, a short walk to the water, which as part of an extensive reasonably shallow bay naturally warm, clean and great for swimming. The bay is clearly nutrient rich and supports great fishing. The tidal nature of the area, and the coarse firmer sand is amenable to launching and mooring small to mid size boats, particularly aluminium with four wheel drive vehicles. There is a narrow steeper section of the beach near the eco resort for launching and retrieving mid size boats but access is tide dependent. Some care is necessary because of shallow water in moving around the bay.
There is natural beauty in the area, especially in the mornings and evenings. sunsets etc.
The tariff was moderate and for weather that is short of very hot in my view was attractive.
The lack of air conditioning in the extreme conditions (40 plus) over a couple of days we encountered proved in those circumstances to be a shortcoming. That is the only aspect I could suggest could be worked towards, perhaps ultimately small split systems in the bedrooms and evaporative in the extensive larger games, but I have nothing but good things to say otherwise.
Generally, my feeling was the hosts willingness to make patrons' stays attractive, memorable and pleasant, shone through.
Pefect for our needs re Eco Seal & Dolphin Tour 300mtrs away!
Great outside space (can be closed) with massive table n solid comfy chairs. BBQ and lots of hot plates etc. We spent most of our time outside. Good sized fridges and heaps of space for esky if you have a couple groups who want to keep some things separate.
Plenty of things to do if chillin out isn't your thing ... TV's, games, kayaks.
Couple of minor things ... no lock on toilet door or screen door on laundry.
Good value for money.
