Log Cabin with Amazing views and River access!

Columbia Wetlands Outpost Private log cabin offgrid. Enjoy our cozy and well-appointed 1 bedroom 1-bathroom cabin can sleep ( 4 guest).

Cooler with first load of ice. (no regular fridge)
BbQ with 1 burner on the side

The cabin has a large deck that completely surrounds it. The year round creek is located 150 below the cabin creating a very special spot to listen to its cascading sounds as the water flows towards the Columbia River. Many hiking trails and the disc golf course are very near by. The living area has a small table and a pull out couch with a wood fireplace and a kitchen area. The bedroom has a queen bed and mountain views both east and west. The bathroom is located beside the bedroom but must be accessed via the deck. Hot water is propane on demand and Solar power can be complimented with a generator if required. On the 360 wraparound deck is a barbecue and picnic table and chairs. Relax on the patio taking in western views of the farm, mountains, and wetlands. Take a short 5-minute walk to our captain’s dock on the Columbia River. Spend the evening outside at our fire pit area, located on the hill side beside our cabin. Rent an e-canoe or kayak for the day to explore the Columbia River wetlands. Also available on our 135-acre property is hiking, paddleboard rentals, farm tours, disc golf, cross country skiing and fishing. You and your company will find quiet space and opportunity to unwind while enjoying mother nature. Our desirable location offers convenient access to a multitude of mountain activities while being removed from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. Take a relaxing holiday at the Columbia Wetlands Outpost Creek Cabin. We are located 18 min south from Golden, 50 min from Lake Louise and 90 minutes from Banff.

Weekend in a cozy cabin

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and it was an amazing weekend. The cabin is beautiful and clean. Trails literally out your door, which makes it great for running dogs!We would love to come back!

Wonderful stay off the grid

My wife and I traveled from San Diego with our Dog for some time away in nature. This cabin did not disappoint! Wonderful views and very cozy accommodations. Bath tub on the deck was great. Close to Golden and Banff. Recommend for anyone trying to step away from their devices and enjoy some time in the woods.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed. We cooked several days with the grill and really enjoyed lunches and dinners on the porch. We were only 15 minutes from Golden too so it was an easy drive to the grocery store and restaurants. The wifi was great on sunny days to power laptops to work remote too! Make sure to pack bug spray for the mosquitoes!

This was a little gem of a cottage. So cute and well appointed! We loved the rustic, off the grid beauty of all of this! We were delighted with the activities available on site as well - I wasn’t expecting that and it was an incredible bonus! Mark and Marie were incredible hosts - very helpful and gracious. The bed was really comfortable, the views were incredible, and the travelling distance to Golden was perfect. The kids loved the charm of the outdoor sink and tub, and found the sofa bed comfortable. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it!

We were so impressed by how well-equipped the log cabin was—everything from cookware and drinking water to hot showers and a BBQ was provided. The cabin was spotless, and the incredible wrap-around deck was the highlight. We spent our mornings there enjoying our coffee and our evenings enjoying the quiet atmosphere around the provided propane fire table or fire pit. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and there was a generous supply of firewood. The location is wonderfully quiet, with lots of trails and places to walk, including a path to the docks. It's also a quick 20-minute drive to the town of Golden for great shops and restaurants. The host was a fantastic communicator and was easily available. .bhelp. This place is a must-stay.

Family Getaway

Mark and Marie went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable to the max! They’ve provided us with direction to get to their farm along with where we could find groceries, restaurants, attractions in the area and so much more! Definitely would recommend and would stay again at their beautiful farm. It’s full of activities and fun things to do like hiking, kayaking, disc golf, you’d never get bored!
