Our cottage is very family friendly, backing onto a large manicured green space for picnics, lawn games & children's playground. Launch your kayak, canoe, paddle board or even just your float chair and enjoy all Osoyoos Lake has to offer! Fire pits for s'mores and sharing campfire stories in the evening. If you want nature & relaxation or fun & adventure this is the ideal cottage for making great family memories. Hiking and biking trails close by. Two king bed rooms! Wonderful stay for the adults and the kids!

Sarah's house is such a warm and inviting space, with luxurious fabrics and lovely small touches, and probably the best stocked kitchen we have ever had! Four adults and two kids under 9 were very comfortable enjoying the living spaces, the separate (upstairs) TV area for the kids, and the wide expanse of grass off the Southern-exposure patio. And the beach access, pool and hottub were big hits!

Great stay

We had the best week at this 4 bed house - it is really nicely decorated and in a great location at Osoyoos Cottages. It has a big field out the back for kids to play on and you can watch them in the playground without having to leave the house! It is close to the pool and beach. The owners are very nice and responsive - we had a lovely gift basket when we arrived. Remember to bring soap/ shampoo etc for the shower as it isn’t provided. Highly recommend!

Easter Long Weekend Stay

The gated community felt very safe. The place was spacious & comfortable for 10 adults. The queen bed had a soft foam mattress that would’ve destroyed some of our lower backs, so a couple of us opted for the stiffer spring pull out couch bed. Gym, hot tub and pickle ball court was nice. The neighbours had a golf cart Easter parade around the community, which was fun to watch. Fairly easy access to the lake & beach front. Located close to the channel/bike trail to Oliver. We had a good time & would stay again!

The location was great. Close to the beach and only a few minutes from the pool. Pool area was great with a 5ft deep pool and a separate 2 ft deep pool for the younger kids plus hot tubs. The house had lots of space. The only issue was the host forgot to send the information to access the property. We got access about two hours after the check-in time. Very frustrating having sit and wait after driving for hours. The host was apologetic but it still was not how we wanted to start our vacation. The rest of the stay was excellent.

Amazing!

We chose this property for our big family trip this summer. We had 6 adults and 3 kids. There was plenty of room and the layout was perfect! Nice big kitchen table for everyone to eat and and the rec room area upstairs was perfect for the kids to play or watch a movie. There was even some lego and drawing things for the kids:) The proximity to the pool area and the beach was super convenient and an easy walk for all. There was a wagon, some beach toys, kayaks, bikes and life vests for us to borrow:) Sarah, our host, was incredible to work with! We can't wait to come back!!

Excellent host and property on Osoyoos Lake!

As the first guest to stay at the property, I took a leap of faith to book it and was rewarded! Sarah showed herself to be a kind and attentive host, who stocked her rental with games, kitchen essentials, plenty of towels, beach essentials, etc etc. I've stayed in many rentals over the years, and this one was one of the best equipped and set up. The property is new and clean, with great access to Osoyoos Lake and to the communal amenities of the Cottages (pool, playground, etc). Having two king-sized beds is a definite plus, and the comfortable size of the place makes it easy for 2 families to share the space without getting in one another's way. The location is great for access to the wineries and the beach, though trips to town take a bit longer. It's pretty quiet, though, and a great place for a family getaway, or for those wanting to explore the wineries between Osoyoos and Oliver. I highly recommend this rental!

Property was as advertised, but the brown water was bad. We spent extra money on bottled water, we couldn’t even cook or shower with the water coming out the tap’s. It turns out they had a problem with the system the 2 weeks we were there! I don’t think you should say the waters good to drink.

A wonderful family getaway

Sarah and Chris’ home is beautiful and well appointed with everything you think you would need and more. Location is perfect: short walk to the lake, just around the corner from the pool and a sprawling grassy area off the patio with perfect view of the playground for the kids to run off to within eyeshot. Sarah was quick to respond to enquiries and the whole process was a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

Family getaway to Osoyoos

We had a wonderful time at The Cottages. The property has lots of activities & options for all ages and the cottage itself has a great layout and is well-stocked. We enjoyed time at the beach, the pool and out on the boat in the lake! It was helpful to have the use of the wagon to haul everything down to the beach (although several times we forgot things and had to run back and forth to the unit which was a bit of a trek in the heat 😬 ). Since the temperatures reached near 40 degrees the week we were there and the mosquitos were quite bad, we spent most of our time near/in the water or in the nice air-conditioned unit. We had a few small issues while we were there but the owners were quick to respond to our messages and offer their help. We would love to come back again sometime as we enjoyed our stay very much!

The nicest house I’ve ever stayed in

Hands down the nicest property I’ve ever stayed in. It was so well equipped it made cooking an absolute breeze, even nicer than my own kitchen - they had absolutely everything! Sarah was fantastic to communicate with and so very nice and accommodating. The house was beautiful, spectacularly clean, well decorated, and in the perfect location - a short 2 min walk from the beach. I cannot say enough great things about this house, it was truly the nicest rental property I’ve ever stayed in.

We have two young children & love to vacation together with our sibling & their children. We felt like The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake were unbeatable for being family friendly. We have all grown up loving water sports, nature, biking & sharing meals. We look forward to hearing about the family memories & traditions you create at our cottage too.

What makes this property unique

The lists of family friendly activities seem endless at our cottages. From launching your canoe, kayak, paddle board or lounge chair and floating around in the warm lake to picnics, s'mores & sharing campfire stories in the meadow this has it all. Maybe you need a change from sandy feet at the lake...? Go jump in the club house pool only steps away! And when the grown ups want a little get away there are so many wineries, shopping & coffee shops downtown Osoyoos, and great golfing in the area too. It's simply perfect.
