The property has 2x spacious bedrooms with large wardrobes with the king bedroom having the option to be split into 2x single beds.

Wall panel heaters are in each bedroom, hallway & a heat pump in the lounge for those chilly winter nights.

Skis, snowboards & bikes can be stored in the lockable storage unit downstairs.

Beautiful open plan kitchen and dining area which opens up onto a balcony with amazing views of Lake Wakatipu & Cecil peak.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and has everything that you need.

***** PLEASE READ *****
The main road is currently being upgraded in the centre of Queenstown, and unfortunately our great central location means the works are currently progressing past our apartment. We are still an easy walk to town (you will have to walk one block over as our road is closed), and we still have parking in town right under our apartment (access to our driveway changes as the works progress, you will be sent current instructions prior to your arrival). The road works can occur between 7am and 7pm, but our double glazing means guests seem to have little impact from noise. The photo in the listing shows what the impact of the roadworks on our view is like. Impacts like this are common around the Queenstown CBD / Queenstown Hill area as the town centre upgrade continues.

To compensate you for this inconvenience we are advertising the property with a 15% discount on the nightly rate (discount already applied) and a free bottle of wine on your arrival. Thank you!

Million dollar view
Postcard pretty. Every morning and evening you couldn’t ask for a better backdrop to a vacation. We ran, biked and hiked from this location. Downhill walking distance to everything in Queenstown. Large grocery store was an 11 minute walk away. The accommodations were excellent. The washer dryer set up was essential. (Less to pack). I would highly recommend this place for a beautiful and relaxing location to stay and enjoy the area. Public transportation was close and highly recommended. Get the BEEcard.

Once we located the apartment (road construction), the stay was very nice. Close to city center with lovely views of the lake, the apartment was ideal for our stay. Access will be even better once road conditions improve.

Great view!
My husband, our teen daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. The construction is pretty heavy duty outside, but it didn't happen over the weekend and it wrapped up early each day. We didn't hear any noise from it. The view is fantastic as is the proximity to town. Yes, the hill to walk up is a bit steep, but it's just for 1 block. It was great to have full laundry facilities. Communication was very easy too. Would love to stay here again.

The unit itself is excellent and is exactly as described in the listing. The wrap-around all glass wall facing the south and west allows dramatic views over the town, the lake and the mountains beyond. The view is especially great at dusk and at night. The bathroom shower has a large west-facing window allowing direct sunlight in the afternoon. We didn't eat there, but the kitchen is well-equipped and coffee was provided. Unfortunately, when we arrived in early March we couldn't get there. The road up the hill was totally blocked by an extensive underground construction project, and even after driving around we couldn't get to the parking. We ended up parking 3 blocks away and walking all of our luggage to the unit. The construction clearly isn't the fault of the owner, but the work had been ongoing for more than a week and the management company could have been more proactive in preparing us for the difficulty in accessing the property. And there was further miscommunication about several other issues, so all in all a frustrating and non-welcoming experience. Also, it should be noted that if you're planning to walk to town the hill is very steep. We did this often, but guests with mobility issues might have difficulties.
