The northstar complex gives you access to a large pool and hot tub. You are a short walk to the lifts on Whistler mountain or hop on the free marketplace shuttle to both mountains.

We enjoyed having a grill available to use. The shuttle system was very easy to figure out. The hot tub was nice after a long day of skiing. Place waa quiet, no nose from any neighbors.
Communication is very clear. House is very clean, and we especially love the bedding linens, very comfy and tidy.

We really enjoyed staying here. The unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. Convenient location, opposite the market square and a 2 min walk to the shuttle bus. Excellent pool and hot tub.

We generally need a more time to organise an early check in and late check out as the housekeeping teams are scheduled far in advance. We like to think we can be quite flexible generally but during busy times this can be tricky!

Walk to the whistler gondola every morning and back was a good way to get our 10000 steps in. But if you’re a family who wants to be within a mile of the gondy, stay elsewhere. We really enjoyed the stay and will likely look for the same place next year!

Thank you for staying with Whistler Ideal Accommodations at Northstar. For those future guests reading, Northstar is located at the North end of the village about a 10 minute walk to the base of the mountain. There is a free village shuttle stop just up the street from the complex however, that runs every 15-20 minutes and can take guests up the mountain base for those who do not want to walk.

Excellent for our family of 4. Quiet location out of the busy centre but close to shops and restaurants. Spacious apartment with all cooking utensils. Lifts and gondola about 1km away, the only downside, plus the shuttle busses were very unreliable for us. We had a comfortable stay and great time overall.
Great location with a bus to gondola close by. Manager quickly addressed the non-working hair dryer issue, which was greatly appreciated. Maybe not the most stocked place regarding cooking utencils, but it has a grill and again super close walking distance to several restaurants. Beds were SUPER comfortable and had plenty of towels. Would definetly stay here again in we go back to Whistler.
From the start, there was excellent and on going
communication from the property management. All of the information was provided up front. The location was great as it was within walking distance to the lower and upper village strolls. Parking spot provided in underground gated parkade, right beside stairwell to the unit. Very convenient for loading. The unit was well appointed and had everything you would need. Home away from home.

Nice place
Location, size, condition, layout, amenities, and overall experience was great. They had ample amounts of dishes which was appreciated. Being able to walk to the grocery store across the street was also quite handy.
My only two drawbacks were the condition of the mattresses and the proximity to the highway. My mattress was quite uncomfortable and in need of replacement. The highway was close enough that road noise was noticeable, particularly in the morning.

This place was exactly as described, maybe a little nicer than I expected. Very clean. It was well maintained and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was in good working order. There were 3 of us and I think would be comfortable for 4. I found the location great for the price. The bus stop was right across the street - was a free shuttle that takes you right to the Whistler gondola. They run so frequently. Great super market (Fresh St Market), also right across the street with quality food options at reasonable prices. The complex has a nice, large hot tub and pool that we took advantage of. It was our first time to Whistler and the town and ski mountain are outstanding.

You spend thousands yet now you have to take out all the garbage and make sure u separate it. They even tell u to clean the place. Stop being cheap, hire a cleaning service like it used to be. The place wasn't cheap.
Overall we enjoyed the place. The location will have me book there again if I'm back

Hi Darin,
Thanks for letting us know about the shower head, we will take a look at it and replace it accordingly. The pool and locker rooms are managed by the strata company; we have not had that report before but we will touch base with them.
We ask that you tidy the home and leave it in a good condition. Below are the checkout guidelines: Load the dishwasher with any dirty dishes, remove your garbage to the complex garbage room (2 minutes from the unit), ensure the doors and windows are closed and locked, ensure all appliances and the BBQ are off, and leave the home in a tidy condition. The guidelines are in place as a basic courtesy to not leave the unit in a messy condition and for security purposes.
We are sorry to hear those guidelines were an inconvenience for your group.
We do have a housekeeping team that arrives post departure and does a full deep clean of the unit including vacuuming, mopping, laundering all linen, and cleaning of washrooms and the kitchen and more, which we do not ask you to do.
It turned out to be hot days during our stay. Not having screen on sliding door made it difficult to ventilate rooms. Ceiling fans could be a good improvement. Passage to garage under the building can be maintained a bit more and made free of the webs.
Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully, we left property clean and mey your expectations.

Very nice place, has everything you need. And Is conveniently located close to the market and the village. Only downside is it is that it is a good bit of road noise from being so close to sea to sky highway. But would definitely stay again!
We had an amazing ten days in Whistler. The accommodations were really nice. Clean, tidy, comfortable and had everything we needed. A well equipped kitchen made all the difference. The apartment had a lovely balcony with a bbq too.
The only down side was the proximity to the highway and a party house across the other side of it. It was a little noisy but not too bad that you couldn’t fall asleep.
Would stay here again.
Great location, however noise from the highway when windows are open. Property Manager was quick to respond to our request for a blender and delivered first thing the next day. Easy walk to the village and steps away from great trails to run and bike on.
