About this property

South Frontenac Battersea Dog Lake

This home was recently completely rebuilt. Featuring an open chef’s kitchen, quartz counters, large island with fridge, microwave, stove and oven. Living and dining areas with cathedral ceilings and propane fireplace. Walk-out basement with recreation room, and 1 Kayak and 1 Paddle Board. Park up to 6 cars with a covered carport area. Large dock with boat whips to park up to three boats. Enjoy lunch on a large lake-view deck with patio amenities and BBQ.
30 minutes from Kingston. In the surrounding towns and cities there are lots of activities, and events to participate in: golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping, restaurants, hiking trails, and lots more!
Whether you are fishing for bass or lake trout, photographing birds and otters, or just out to kayak or boat, the lake offers endless bays and basins to explore in.
To maintain outdoor serenity, the house is equipped with large windows and some shade.
Wind-down at night and enjoy the lawn and fire-pit on a starry summer night. Or just cozy up in the living room and do some light streaming on our wifi provided.

There is a private boat launch conveniently located at the end of the road.

There's room for the whole family or group of friends to spread out between 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.

: Please use septic friendly cleaning products & soaps (regular shampoos & conditioners are ok)
: Outdoor fire is permitted only in fire pit provided as long as fire ban is green
: No parties. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00PM. If there are any complaints from our neighbors, guests may be asked to leave the property and will be solely responsible for any fines.

Beautiful property, has everything you need

It's about a half hour drive from Kingston. The home itself is modern and nice. And it's right on the water with a dock that's excellent for fishing. The family enjoyed doing that and using the fire pit. Nice family areas upstairs and downstairs with TVs on both Florida. The only negative was being requested to take the garbage with us upon departure but otherwise, a very nice stay.

Great for our family gathering

We enjoyed a wonderful stay with our family. We brought our own boat to the dock which provided for great fishing adventures and trips to the public beach at Battersea. The property is beautifully renovated and well maintained, with generous amenities. The open kitchen area was particularly enjoyed as we prepared meals together. We hope to return next year.

Everything about the stay went smoothly and the house and property was as described. A beautiful, well thought-through house decor and layout, and a gorgeous, peaceful lake view. Excellent attention to detail.

No Dishwasher Contact Host about Amenities

The house was not as described. The lack of a dishwasher was a big disappointment for a rental at this price point. The pictures show a dishwasher (#12) and the owner blamed VRBO for the inaccuracy. There as a place for a dishwasher. The description said a queen sized bed, twin beds, and king sized bed. The host said the twins could be put together to make a king sized bed. (2 twins do not make a king sized bed. The downstairs bedroom lacked ceiling height and it was stuffy because the windows could not be opened due to torn screen. The outside was overgrown and we were unable to find the fire pit. The host sent pictures but still unable to find the fire pit. I have never had to write a review like this. I would contact the host before renting.

Ein wirklich wunderschöner Ort am Wasser. Es fühlte sich an wie im Film. Wir genossen den Blick aufs Wasser, der durch die Aussicht wunderschön in Szene gesetzt wurde. Leider war das Haus nicht sauber. Es sah aus, als wäre seit Wochen niemand mehr da gewesen. Draußen war es voller Fliegen und Spinnweben. Und drinnen, an den Fenstern der Haustür, sah es genauso aus. Leider war auch der Backofen nicht sauber und schon lange nicht mehr geputzt worden.Das war enttäuschend, vor allem angesichts des hohen Preises, den man für das Haus zahlt.Nach Rücksprache mit dem Eigentümer kam nicht viel mehr dabei heraus als eine Entschuldigung und der Hinweis, dass wir uns am Wasser befinden und es daher schnell wieder mit Fliegen voll werden würde. Allerdings war das keine eintägige Angelegenheit.
