About this property

5 minutes walk from the beach, this newly renovated and extended family holiday home has loads of space and different areas to suit all family members, with extensive kid friendly gardens.
The house is set in a great location that is easy walking distance to cafes, beaches and shops, and Peel Estuary.
There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 living areas, a renovated kitchen and great outdoor spaces, suitable for entertaining.
Downstairs is a large open plan kitchen/dining/living room with a large family size dining table and extra chairs, kids play area, reverse cycle air conditioner and ceiling fan. It opens out onto a covered outdoor area with BBQ and outdoor setting, and an outdoor shower for washing down after a trip to the beach.
3 bedrooms downstairs, each with a ceiling fan. 2 bedrooms are doubles, 1 bedroom has bunk beds.
There is a family bathroom downstairs, shower only. Laundry with washing machine and separate toilet are downstairs.
Also downstairs at the other end of the house is a games room which has a double sofa bed, pool table, dart board, smart TV and loads of boards games and books, as well as a reverse cycle air conditioner.
Upstairs is another living/dining area with reverse cycle air conditioner, ceiling fan, smart TV, kitchenette, separate bathroom and toilet and a queen bedroom.
The upstairs living area opens out onto a generous deck with a view to the whole large family backyard, with established gardens, lawn and swings for kids.
The front yard is also kid friendly with a sandpit and toys and is fully fenced.
There are several cafes and restaurants nearby and a tavern, shopping centre and fast food outlets, all within walking distance of the property. Also nearby is a fantastic golf course and the Peel Estuary for crabbing and boating.
This home has been in the family for generations, lived in and loved by different family members over the years.
We also have a family of Tawny Frog mouth hidden in the back yard trees. See if you spot them, but please don't disturb them.

Fantastic Stay for Families

This place was just perfect to share with other families. A great location within walking distance to beach and easy drive to the shops. It was comfortable and well equipped with anything you needed thanks to the very welcoming and generous hosts. The backyard alone gave adults and kids alike, many hours of enjoyment! Very grateful for our stay and would book again and recommend to others.

A gorgeous family vacay - property perfect for young kids!

Was a beautiful property in a top-notch location. The yard was absolutely amazing and the kids loved the swing set and walking to the beach! Thank you for the loaner boogie boards for the kids - they had the holiday of a lifetime!

Excellent place for all the family.

Clean, bright and has everything you could need for a family of all ages. Excellent place to stay and relax, play pool, darts or many of the board games provided. Close to everything you could need with a short walk to the beach. Max and Linda are very easy to deal with.

Why they chose this property

The property was originally a holiday home for the family, going back a couple of generations. Christmas get togethers were always the focus, since the property is ideally located between Perth and country towns down south, allowing family from all over to meet up.
It has seen two separate families grow up here, and settle nearby.
