About this property

The Rogue Valley really is unique. The mild climate, idyllic natural setting, and relative isolation have made the valley a popular retirement destination. But it has also attracted families looking to move here for the small-town quality of life, as well as adventure seekers looking to take advantage of all the outdoor activities.
For the adventure seekers, the Rogue Valley is a virtual mecca. Hiking and mountain biking trails abound; in Jacksonville trails start right in town and offer miles of hilly and forested adventure.
There are plans underway to build a trail system that spans from south of Grants Pass to the Jacksonville Forest Park trail system, where it meets the “JackAsh Trail” in Jacksonville, to provide a continuous trail from Jacksonville to Ashland.
There are beautiful campgrounds close by in every direction, from coastal parks to area lakes to riverside sites. You’ll find world-class fishing and rafting along the Rogue River among other area rivers, and places such as Applegate Lake and Emigrant Reservoir that offer paddle boarding and kayaking, as well as waterslides, fishing and motorized boat activities.

Walking distance to everything. Cottage was a two bedroom house with modern appliances. Restaurants nearby were great. Trolly picked us up right across the street for the Britt show.

A perfect spot to explore Jacksonville.
The home was decorated/designed well. We stayed in cottage A. Historic downtown with shops and restaurants were less than a block away. Comfy beds. Fully appointed kitchen. Lovely setting. We will stay again.
The cottage is absolutely located for access to allThings Jacksonville. The cottage is decorated perfectly with the most adorable bathroom. The bed is so comfortable and the porch is a bonus to sit and have coffee or wine at night. Everyone in Jacksonville is so friendly. We did the wine trolly to the vineyards only one block to trolley depot and recommend the churro shop for fresh churros ! We enjoyed the lovely breeze at hummingbird estate on hot day.
We stayed at the C Street Cottage during a visit to Ashland to see some plays, and it was a wonderful spot! It's fun to get the Jacksonville experience in alongside Ashland. The town has a great vibe, and the winery scene in the Applegate Valley is really worth doing.
One extremely pleasant feature of this cottage is the rocker on the front porch. I could have hung out there for hours. Such a great place to drink your morning coffee and people watch. I would definitely stay here again.
Extra nice large cottage. 10 out of 10 for sure. Walking distance to everything in Jacksonville. Only blocks from Britt grounds. Several restaurants also right around the corner. Very quite bedrooms and lots of pillows. Met the owners very nice people. They were close if you needed them, we did not everything worked perfect. Worth an extra day to see all the history around Jacksonville. We will be back.
This cottage was very comfortable with tons of pillows in the living room and bedrooms. That made it very cozy. The location can't be beat for access to everything J'ville has to offer.
My wife Sandy and I have lived in the Rogue Valley for over a decade. We live in Jacksonville and are a few blocks from where the cottages are located, We like to hike the Britt trails and enjoy everything that Jacksonville has to offer.
The restaurants downtown are wonderful and we have many local vineyards with tasting rooms in town.
