If your looking for a private getaway at a charming cottage on a 2 acre wooded lot this is your perfect spot. You are close to ski mountains, skidoo trails, & the tourist town of Magog Qc with lots to see and do all year around. There is a spacious covered patio off the main floor with out door dining table for 6, along with two swing chairs to relax & enjoy the out doors. The well equipped kitchen & dining area are on the second floor with another smaller covered balcony, a small BBQ & smaller table to relax with coffee or a glass of wine & soak in the privacy & nature all around with no neighbors in site. We also have a fire pit with chairs for some camp fires out on the side lawn. Inside you will find a Roku Smart TV, high speed Wi-Fi, an electric fire place, 2 bedrooms(with Queen beds) & 2 futons in the living room areas. We have tried to think of everything our guests may need focusing on smaller details for short or even longer stays.

Great proximity to Mont Orford

We enjoyed staying at the chalet as a base for our ski trip. It is about a 12 minute drive to hike or ski at Mont Orford and approximately 35 to Owl's Head. The property was large enough for us to feel like we were in the woods but close enough to town and activities. The chalet was well equipped and Matt was very quick to respond to questions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Summer Family Trip

My wife and I, sister-in-law, and nephew (10) spent three nights here and had an absolute blast. The property was immaculate and had everything we could want. My nephew loved the fire pit and playing in the huge yard and my wife and sister-in-law loved the incredible tub. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essential cooking tools and the grill worked perfectly. We had an amazing time!

Great weekend, place was very nice and tidy. We relaxed and enjoy the place .it was fairly quiet. After half an hour, we stop noticing the cars on the road near by. I recommend it.

Perfect for our needs.

My wife and I spent a few days in the area with our 2 adult children. We were all very pleased with the place. Quiet and private with enough space for the 4 of us to be comfortable. As the kitchen, dining area and shower are all on the second floor I probably wouldn't recommend to someone who struggles with stairs, but for everyone else its not an issue. Very clean and well stocked. Caretaker was quick with return communication and very responsive to a request. The location was also perfect for what we had planned. We would stay again.

Ne convient pas avec un chien

Points positifs; 15 min de voiture pour l’épicerie randonnée et autre activités, donc bonne emplacement. Points négatifs; - réservoir d’eau chaude trop petit, (grande baignoire mais 10 cm (2.5 pouce) d’eau seulement ou encore 1 douche rapide et deuxième tiède. - Impossible de se promener dans le bois ou au tour car clôturé et le terrain est spongieux. ( déconseillé avec un chien) - Cuisine au 2ème étage pas très pratique. - On a du laver les casseroles avant l’utilisation

I am surprised & disappointed by your negative review & experience. We have hosted 43 guests so far this year, anyone who did leave a review gave us a positive 5 star review. Guests who have brough their dogs have also commented it was perfect for their pets. The cottage is on approximately 2 acres of land that yes is fenced in, this is typical for private property to avoid our guest from wondering onto the neighbors property accidently. There are many public walking & hiking trails near buy if guests want more than 2 acres to wonder on. Our property like all properties in the area is quite wet as a result of the weather we have been experiencing this is completely out of my control. The hot water tank is a standard size for a cottage of our size. If you had to wash some pots & pans I am sorry about that, we will double check this in the future, however the cottage is always extremely clean & this has also been mentioned in many of the reviews. You are of course intitled to your opinions on our cottage, however I do feel I have to also respond so that future guests do not get the wrong impression. I hope that future guests will focus on the many positive reviews that our hard work & attention to details have generated.
