You'll be directly opposite Mudgee Showgrounds, a short drive to the surrounding vineyards and less than a 15-minute walk from the local cafes and restaurants.

When you're not out and about indulging in the local dining scene, pick up some fresh, gourmet produce and cook up a feast in the kitchen, which has all the essentials needed including a fridge, oven, stove, microwave, as well as other basics such as pots, pans and utensils. Enjoy meals in the dining room at the six-seater table or head outside to the undercover patio, where a BBQ grill is perfect for alfresco afternoons.

The generous living and dining areas are equipped with AC and underfloor heating. Guests can settle in with a movie or work remotely from the ergonomic desk with a monitor. A second living area offers a cosy futon to relax on with your favourite book; while an additional entertaining space is available in the garage, which has been converted to a games room complete with a ping pong table and kids' activities.

Four bedrooms with underfloor heating sleep seven guests. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, air-conditioning and an ensuite, the second bedroom offers a queen bed, the third bedroom has two single beds, and the fourth bedroom offers one king single bed plus the option of a trundle that is suitable for children, making up a total of eight guests. The main bathroom features a shower, a bathtub, and all the essentials including soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer.

Start your day with a visit to artisan bakery, Althea by Zin, for a delicious pastry, before strolling the elegant, tree-lined streets and taking in the historic buildings and local galleries. Our Chow, a five-minute drive, is a popular spot for a hearty lunch and a drop of boutique wine, while the Oriental Hotel makes a great dinner stop.

Other local attractions include the many vineyards dotted around the surrounding hills, including organic and biodynamic vineyard Lowe Wines, and the stunning, architecturally designed cellar door at Logan Wines.
