Very clean well stocked "cottage", skylights made it bright inside, flowers planted near windows, a very responsive host. Frankfort has a great grocery store, several pubic beach/marina areas, a well stocked bookstore, restaurants. A wooded retreat, close to the water.

My wife, three daughters and I love staying in the Samantha apartment hosted by Scott and Cindy. It is tremendously clean and comfortable with all the amenities for a beach vacation in Frankfort/Elberta. It is close to Bestie Bay and the river trail, easy walk or bike ride into Frankfort or Elberta. It is our second year in a row and we will be back again.

Beautiful weekend

We realy loved this unit! It was comfortable and clean and cozy! Location was great for us with a 15-20 minutes walk to downtown and the beach! Surroundings are just beautiful with trees around the house and a short walk to the lake! We would definitely come again!

Super clean, comfortable beds and living room & dining furniture. Large bathroom, good shower. The only negatives were: lack of grill, no outside table or activities, kitchen lacked adequate cookware (had just very minimal basics) and only 2 so-so pillows for each sleeping space. Beds were firm, comfortable and there was enough linens. Towels were thick, very nice. Really nice place, especially for mature people. Very quiet area & no noise from the other unit.

As for your comment about no outdoor table, they’re actually is an outdoor table and two chairs specifically for the Deilia. However, I would note that the afternoon sun makes it very warm where the table sits. Perhaps that was the problem. And there actually is four pillows in the apartment, two of them are in the linen closet. Perhaps you didn’t see them. At any rate, we would love to have you back again!

This property was awesome! The house was very cute and very clean. It was a great location, so close to downtown Frankfort and an easy drive to so many fun adventures! Scott was very accommodating and helpful. This is one of the few vacation rentals we are actually planning on going to again ❤️

The house was clean and it was close to downtown Frankfort and just a couple minute drive from the beach and other attractions. I would recommend staying here and I would stay here again.

Perfect location

Perfectly situated between Elberta and Frankfort, easy access to the Betsie River trail for a short bike ride or walk. The apartment was great, clean and well maintained. Scott and his wife were attentive hosts and checking in as need if we needed anything. Daughter left a shirt and they texted us right away so we could turn around, I thought they were gracious hosts.

We were only there 2 nights and 1 full day. I was under the impression that it was in the town of Frankfort near downtown but was actually outside of the town. Needed to drive to downtown to the restaurants, beach and shop. For those willing to walk 1.5 to 2 miles to downtown there is a paved trail across the main road from the house. The house itself was comfortable and clean. It is 1 of 4 units.

Summer Getaway

This property was perfect for our weekend of hiking and reminiscing in Northern Michigan. The rental was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking Into Elberta while being very quiet and private. It was an easy drive to Frankfort, Beulah and Crystal Lake. We will definitely return.

What a perfect place. Plenty of room for two couples and minutes away from downtown Frankfort and a quick 10 minute drive to Lake Michigan lookout and pathway to the beach area and lighthouse. Everything was on one floor with no steps to climb. One very spacious bathroom with walk in shower, Perfect!

Amazing hospitality

Scott and Cindy are amazing hosts and have all the details covered. Location is fantastic, just a block from Betsey walking trail and short drive to downtown Frankfort and the beach. This is our second stay with this propery and we will be back. 3 words to describe the hosts: generous, kind, authentic. 3 words to describe the apartment: charming, clean, equipped. Felt like home

Very clean. It was better stocked than any I have stayed in. Strong WIFI and streaming TV. The beds were comfy. Outdoors was beautiful with deer, wild turkeys, colorful birds. The owners were wonderful! They left a plant and provided things for a breakfast and snacks so we didn't have to grocery shop as soon as we got there. They provided extra support when I had a medical mishap but respected our privacy. The town of Frankfort is small and friendly with sandy beaches and some beautiful old homes to admire. Try the steak bites at the Cabage Shed and the olive burger at the local A&W.
