Downstairs features an open plan living and dining, that opens up to the outdoor alfresco entertaining and resort-style pool area. The house has a private setting and is light filled. A grassy level green lawn adjoins the pool area.
Separate toilet and laundry area with washing machine and dryer.
Downstairs are the master bedroom with ensuite and study aka second bedroom with single bed.
Upstairs has a mezzanine with second lounge and TV area, followed by 3x bedrooms down the hallway and main bathroom.

THE AREA
You cannot get any closer to the beach than this, it is such a luxury to just stroll across the road and be able to see dolphins riding waves and humpback whales migrating in season from May to November. Port Macquarie is all about outdoor living, beach, hiking, bush tracks, wild flowers, mountain biking, winery tours. You name it, we got it. Many uncrowded beautiful beaches and bays. The house is located on the Port Macquarie coastal walk between Town Beach and Lighthouse Beach.

Double garage with internal access to the house, driveway parking and free street parking. Plenty of room for boats.

Family fun

Pacific Lux was ideal for our family, who travelled from the north and south to be together for the week. Only suggestion we discussed was that some shade over the central outdoor dining area would improve that area. We did use the umbrella and that did help. All bedrooms and both bathrooms were well appointed. Being able to use the double garage was a big bonus! Thanks!

Holiday

The property lacked a few high end details that would make it near perfect. No TV in the main bedroom - there is plenty of room for one; only two bathrooms for a 6 bed house - not good for families; for a property with a very high end price point - the coffee machine needed to be more than a Nespresso; one fridge for a big house - great Butler's Pantry where second fridge could live; one air conditioner upstairs that had to work very hard when everything was closed up; no larger bowls, platters, baking dishes in the kitchen; oven didn't work properly (Managing Agent was brilliant in helping sort some of these issues so thank you); property was a bit run down with cracked pool tiles, poor landscaping and cleanliness (there was a lighter and a number of other items in the lounges); vacuum cleaner stopped after just using it in the kitchen area - otherwise I would have vacuumed before I left the property. These are my thoughts and some of the comments from the family while we were away. We did have a great time and the family had a great holiday which was ideal. I am making these comments for future reference. The property was very expensive, which I understand for the time of year, however for that type of expense, a few finer details would benefit. Thank you for allowing us to share you home during the Holiday Period.
