It is in a great location with easy access to all the High Country has to offer. Just minutes from Sugar Mountain Resort whether you enjoy skiing, ice skating and tubing, or prefer summer activities like tennis, golf and biking and hiking. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the quaint top rated town of Banner Elk, or a glass wine at one of the local wineries. Whether coming to explore or relax, 'Peace of Sugar' is a great place to be!

Sugar Mountain weekend

Loved the house and location. Super convenient for getting to and from the slopes. Had all the kitchen gadgets we needed.

Wonderful place, just what we were looking for!

We rented this cabin for a small family thanksgiving break and it was perfect! Communication was quick and the owner was very accommodating. The kitchen was stocked with everything for 6 people (or more) and made making a full holiday meal pretty easy. We loved the beautiful view from the porch, the cozy fireplace and watching the deer go by in evening. This cabin is fairly centrally located with most things like hiking trails, Grandfather mountain, restaurants and Tweetsy Railroad being within a 25 minute drive. We would absolutely visit here again.

Short getaway

We had a fun time during our stay. Our granddaughters played and played and were quite content having fun in the yard digging in the snow and making a snow man. The location was perfect and very convenient to sugar mountain and outdoor ice skating. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings after coming in from the cold! We all had a wonderful time and wished we could have stayed longer.

This cottage was exceptionally clean, very cozy, beautiful views. The kitchen had every gadget and cookware you could possibly need. We loved being able to use the laundry to throw in our ski clothes everyday.
