This 5 bedroom 6 bath home is suitable for families who love to fish, boat, and enjoy Lowcountry living. Hunting Island State Park and Beach is located a few miles from the home as well! Bring the boat and enjoy direct access to Port Royal sound.

Bay Point Serenity has many local area attractions! Public boat ramps are located within a short ride so bring your boat and enjoy exploring the area and wildlife. It's a short ride to Downtown Beaufort, The Town of Port Royal, Parris Island Marine Core Base, and much more!

House was amazing. Clean, new appliances and very welcoming. Barry with the rental company checked in to make sure we were good Location was awesome and the sunsets were out of this world and so relaxing.FYI: if you have a problem with stairs, just know all bedrooms are on the second and third floors. The dock was my favorite feature.

The property was welcoming to pets. It is in a great location and provides the low country living.The property management maintained communications prior to arrival and during the stay.An important thing, all vents should be cleaned and filters changed.There should be no mold or hair in the bathroom or on shower curtains. The stairs on the dock require an integrity inspection at regular intervals.The mattresses should be inspected for condition and integrity.

The house is in a great location. The house itself is perfect for a family, as far as the available spaces. We loved fishing from the dock and the view of the water. We also loved exploring during low tide and found a lot of shells and crabs, which the kids loved. The reason for our rating is because the house itself is very dirty. It really needs a deep clean and most likely needs all of the furniture (which is all fabric) replaced as all furniture is covered with stains. I did reach out by email on the day we arrived to ask if there were any other available accommodations, but we didn't get a response. It was after hours. The walls are nasty as well as some of the shower curtains and bedding. Luckily, we had a lot of blankets from camping prior and were able to use our blankets to cover all of the furniture so that we felt comfortable sitting on it. We just took off all of the decorative pillows which were all just saturated with dirt and stains. I don't know how those issues could have been remedied short of a deep clean and/or replacing the furniture. We are not quick to leave a bad review, and don't think we ever have, but it definitely needs to be addressed as I can't imagine anyone would think it was acceptable as is, and I wouldn't want someone else to rent until addressed. Again, the house itself is cool and location is awesome.

Wonderful Place to Stay and Visit

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It was very comfortable for our extended family to visit together and still each have our own private spaces. The sunsets were gorgeous and the Spanish moss set the ambiance. It was a perfect place to celebrate our son's graduation from Marines Basic Training and also celebrate the Christmas season!

Overall it was a nice house and southern style was gorgeous. Plenty of room for all to stay and have privacy. Made our trip to watch my son's graduation from boot camp less stressful. However, for the price charged the house should be cleaned better. I would hire different cleaning people. Here are some things we wanted you to be aware of: Cleaning products for us to use for cleaning up random spills on floor, counters, and stove Wooden floors/stairs made walking in the rain difficult Air vents: dirty and not good for people with breathing problems Grill: needed to be cleaned and husband fixed the broken handle All draws in bedrooms need to be cleaned out No need to tell people about the need to bring TP and paper towel however blow dryer would have been helpful Sinks drain slow in some bathrooms and every shower curtain had 6" of mold on them Wooden chairs by fire pit were broken Dirt on everything inside house Some of the dishes we used were dirty or full of water No hall lights in the stair ways very dangerous Bath room toilet paper rods broken Random chair broken in laundry room Some plastic chairs on dock were broken The railing on the dock was broken Not all of the fans in house were working and some were obviously broken, and all needed to be cleaned The electrical fixings on dock were scary looking and we were afraid to turn anything on our there making the walk inside after watching the sunset scary

Large family week long stay.

Beautiful sunsets, accomodates many, we had 10. Hunting island state park has a beautiful beach. Should be aware of the outside porch access to the upstairs. Not the best for small children unless you are going to bed at the same time.

Fishing in Fremont

We had a great time at the house, which is very well located and had plenty of rooms for a large group. The lift at the dock was a bit tricky with tides, but worked out.

Debutante Weekend

We had a lot of guests coming in for our daughter's deb ball, so we needed some extra room. This house was perfect for what we needed: plenty of room and close to our home. We had a storm during our stay, and the team responded quickly to all emails. And what a view!

Fun Fishing Weekend

The home is awesome. Plenty of fun activities close by (hiking, fishing, and historical places) and house is very spacious for several couples to or large family to be able to vacation together. It was abnormally cold this weekend and the heat was out where the bedrooms are located up stairs, but the property manager came right out to fix it ASAP. Would definitely recommend this as a great spot for fishing and a quiet place to relax as long as the weather cooperates!

Stay in Low Country

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood with access to the bay via our own dock. The kitchen was stocked with a good assortment of appliances and cooking and eating utensils. The two refrigerators came in handy. The house was clean and ready for us. Bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels. The host was usually responsive to our questions.

Marine Graduation

We were there for a Marine graduation. Most of our time was spent at Parris Island. But I like how all the rooms had their own bathrooms. Everyone had their own space and we spent the evenings on the dock. Rooms needed more air conditioning but they did have fans in the closets. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Island house

Lovely home on the island. We had issues with the lock not opening, but received immediate assistance. I would. recommend revising the description to let people know the bedrooms are not accessible through the main house. You must go outside and up the stairs to access bedrooms and full bathrooms.

Spring break 2023

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet area that is very low key. Lovely covered dock- although the no see’ums are rough at times! (As they are known to be in SC coastal areas!) the porches were nice, but quiet dirty, could have used a good spring cleaning- lots of leaves and debris and screens missing- which made sitting out there limited due to the bugs. That being said, our family and friends included adults, teens and younger kids, and all were able to find spaces to hangout and enjoy themselves. Loved Lands End beach which is a small beach just a short walk away that is mostly hidden from the general public.
