amazing spot for a quiet week
I stayed here with a couple of friends, and it was absolutely lovely. The internet was good enough that we were able to work remotely as needed. The home is clean, the kitchen is stocked, and the views are incredible. The host is super kind and responsive. We're already planning our next visit.
The property was so incredibly peaceful -rolling hills and just this amazing sense of calm . The skies away from all the city lights were just so beautiful; staring into a million stars shining bright and the quiet allowed for wonderfully peaceful sleeping. We would come here again with no hesitation..!
I stayed with my parents and my two teenage kids. We have family in the area and had easy access to many destinations through day trips. I especially enjoyed the views from the wraparound porch. The inside was stocked with everything we needed, and then some the property manager had great communication and was very responsive. We were surprised to find additional beds. Looking forward to staying again sometime!
Check in and out was quick and easy. The Wi-Fi access has changed and hasn't been updated on the information provided. The home is very large and spacious with great views of the Yellowstone river valley and the Crazy Lady Mountain range. Great place to stay as a base camp to explore the area. Recommend getting a high clearance vehicle to access the unit last mile of driveway is really a jeep trail with ruts and sage brush growing in the center and large rocks in the wheel paths, not really a dirt road.

Quiet Sanctuary
The house and the surrounding area was incredibly peaceful;the house was really spacious with everything that could possibly be needed readily available. Did some hiking on the property - rolling hills and grass pastures - very relaxing. Hiked in the Crazy Mountains - about a 30 minute drive north; unfortunately very smoky in the mountains from fires in Canada - prevailing winds brought the smoke. Really a great weekend; would come back again if the chance comes up !

Work/fly fishing trip with the boys
LOVED the house, the view, and the entire Halverson family. Such great communicators from check in to check out. For us, we loved being able to warm up after a cold day on the water and just relax, sip on a glass of whiskey, and watch the sunset.
After work, we actually raced each other back to the house to soak in as much time in that house as possible.
We will be back.
The location, property, amenities, communication, and overall experience was everything we hoped for. We highly recommend this property. The pictures are accurate, the location (near mountains, Yellowstone river, proximity to closest town, etc.) were all accurate. We did a down and back to Yellowstone one day with a stop in Livingston. We spent the afternoon in Bozeman one day and visited Big Timber every day. We spent two days mostly hanging out at the property and the immediate area which was wonderful. Simply walking the driveway down to the state park at the bottom of it is a fun activity with beautiful sights.
The house was clean, beautiful views, great lighting for our stamping group. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Beds were comfortable. The owner was very gracious and even left us a coffee cake and some drinks! We plan to make this a yearly event!

Girls weekend
The house is so comfortable and was very clean. The views are stunning! The house was spacious enough for us to be together comfortably. Also the manager of the property was so polite and helpful when we called for help finding the Wi-Fi information! We will definitely be back and if I could give a 10 star I would because 5 doesn’t feel like enough.

Magnificent Views, Wonderful Country Home
This house is lovely! The views alone are worth every penny. Drink your morning coffee or sip your evening cocktail on the gorgeous deck or patio. The house was very spacious but cozy all at the same time. It was very clean & equipped with everything.
While in Big Timber also check out the Grande it had a wonderful meal & awesome atmosphere, the local brewery was a great spot, the quaint downtown area was top notch, some of the neatest little shops. And definitely go check out the Natural Bridge while in the area. It’s a little drive but absolutely stunning!
You can’t go wrong with this pick! Secluded, country living!
