Overpriced!!

The pictures were accurate and not misleading. However, what should have been included in the overall description is that when you wash dishes you have to do them in buckets in the sink. Then take the buckets outside and dump the water. The note left by the host also said do not take long showers because the holding tank can fill up and a very loud siren will go off. RUSTIC should have been used quite often in the description so you know what to expect. The house was lovely, but for what we paid, this was a bit like camping!

Relaxing Cabin Stay

We( four adult friends) had a great stay at Cheryl’s cabin. The cabin was clean and had many of the basics needed. Comfy furniture and smart tv available. We enjoyed using the kayaks/paddle board. Great deck to hang out on and we ate all our meals outside as well. The lake was very quiet during the week days and was still pretty quiet on the weekend (rainy weekend). We would come back. Host was very responsive beforehand and was available if needed. One thing to note if you are thinking of renting. The hill to get down from the road where you park is definitely substantial and wouldn’t be recommended for anyone with bad knees, hips or ankles.
